On December 24, a South Korean court ordered Park Youtian to pay 500 million won in compensation to his company as consideration for his breach of the exclusive brokerage contract and independent activities with other companies.

The Seoul** District Court recently ruled that the brokerage company H**e Fun Together won a damages lawsuit against Park Youtian and his former company, Re:Cielo and others, and that the defendants should jointly pay 500 million won and late fees to the plaintiffs.

H**e Fun Together signed a contract with Re:Cielo in January 2020 to acquire exclusive brokerage rights to Park You-cheon, which will run until 2024.

However, in May 2021, Park Youtian asked to terminate the exclusive contract with H**e Fun Together, and after the negotiation failed, he sent an official letter with Re:Cielo, and the reason for the termination was that the other party did not pay the settlement payment.

Because H**e Fun Together did not respond, Park Youtian started his campaign through another brokerage company run by his friend, A.

As a result, H**e Fun Together applied to Park Youtian in August 2021 for a temporary disposition prohibiting him from participating in broadcasting and entertainment activities, which was recognized by the court.

However, Park ignored the court's decision and continued to engage in overseas activities with Company A. H**e Fun Together immediately filed a lawsuit for 500 million won in damages against Park Youcheon, Re:Cielo and Company A for infringing their brokerage rights. The court upheld H**e Fun Together's claim.

Park Youtian et al. argued that H**e Fun Together had never paid the settlement payment and that the contract had been automatically terminated, but the court verified that the settlement payment had been paid in a timely manner, so this claim was rejected.

However, the court did not accede to H**e Fun Together's request to prohibit Park from participating in performing arts activities.
