On December 5, 2023, Linhai Jingyuan Social Work Service Center led Jingyuan volunteers and the staff of Gaoqiao Community Neighborhood Committee to walk into Gaoqiao Community to carry out the warm-hearted volunteer service activity of "Sending Warmth in Winter, Warmth and Appointment, Filial Piety and Helping the Elderly, Jingyuan Community Helping the Elderly, Helping the Disabled and the Poor, and Volunteering to Warm People's Hearts".
For the elderly and disabled friends in the community, we provide voluntary services such as home visits, understanding difficulties, wish collection, and psychological counseling.
Granny Zhao, who lives in Gaoqiao Community, has suffered from severe rheumatoid arthritis for 25 years, with severe deformation of joints, unable to take care of herself in daily life, and is a first-class disability. I saw our Jingyuan volunteers and community workers, visiting and caring for them at home. He and Granny Zhao were very touched and even said thank you!
Uncle Guo, who is 99 years old this year, is the oldest old birthday star in the Gaoqiao community, and will be 100 years old in two months.
On the 25th of every month, the elderly will participate in the regular volunteer service of health assistance for the elderly and the disabled in Jingyuan Gaoqiao Community. So the old man is also very familiar with us, and when we meet us, it is like seeing relatives, holding our hands and saying thank you!
Aunt Zhou, who lives in Gaoqiao Community, suffers from a first-class disability, her husband died in an accident, and she has always been concerned about the object of help from our Jingyuan, after many years of visits and help, Aunt Zhou has a lot, and we can communicate normally, and daily life can also take care of herself, the eldest daughter also started working this year, and the younger daughter is still in junior high school, may their family get better and better!Aunt Zhou now sees us as if she is a relative, and after meeting us, she chatted with us about her recent situation, saying that we have cared about and helped her for so many years!Say thank you to us!
