The dry cleaning machine is a kind of cleaning machinery, which cleans, dehydrates, dries, and purifies the cleaning solvent through dry cleaning solvent to achieve recirculation.
Dry cleaning machines EU CE certification directive:
MD Machinery Directive: 2006 42 EC
Dry cleaning machine EU CE certification standard:
EN ISO 12100:2010 Safety of machinery – General criteria used in design – Risk assessment and risk mitigation.
EN 60204-1:2018 Machinery Safety. Mechanical and electrical equipment. Part 1: General Requirements.
EN ISO 8230-1:2008 Safety Requirements for Dry-cleaning Machines-Part 1: Common Safety Requirements.
Dry cleaning machine EN ISO 8230-1:2008 scope of application:
This part of ISO 8230 specifies general safety requirements for dry cleaners. It is suitable for all sizes of dry cleaning machines for industrial and commercial use for cleaning textiles, leather, fur and leather goods, using only perchloroethylene or combustible solvents as the cleaning medium. Not suitable for: Machines for public use (self-service);3.1.Barrier machine as defined in 5;3.1.Transfer machine as defined in 4;Ironing machine (see ISO 10472-1 and ISO 10472-6);Ancillary equipment such as indoor ventilation equipment, retort waste** systems, external water cooling systems, or external systems for solvents from distilled sludge.
This part of ISO 8230 deals with all significant hazards that arise during the use of dry cleaners, where "use of dry cleaners" includes intended use and foreseeable anomalies, including commissioning, use, and maintenance. It defines general safety requirements for dry cleaning machines and is intended to be used in conjunction with ISO 8230-2 and ISO 8230-3 (as the case may be).
The specific requirements in the other parts of ISO 8230 take precedence over the corresponding requirements in this part of ISO 8230. It does not deal with the hazards posed by processing items that may create a ** environment (e.g., printer wipers containing low flash point solvents), nor does it handle machine processing loads that may contain "foreign solvents", which may cause changes in the properties (characteristics) of the cleaning solvent, for example, causing blistering or carcinogenicity. This part of ISO 8230 applies to machines manufactured after the date of publication.
Dry cleaning machine inspection process:
1. Project application - submit the testing application to the testing institution.
2. Data preparation - according to the testing requirements, the enterprise prepares relevant documents.
3. Product testing - the company will send the samples to be tested to the laboratory for testing.
4. Preparation of reports - certification engineers prepare reports according to qualified test data.
5. Submit for review - the engineer will review the complete report.
6. Issuance of certificate - after the audit is correct, the certificate will be issued.
