Current leadership

Tang Zhiyong, male, born in 1971, from Hunan, is a member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, a researcher, and a doctoral supervisor. Winner of the National Outstanding Youth Program, leading talent of the National Relevant Talent Program, chief scientist of the National Nano Major Research Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and head of the innovation group of the National Natural Science Commission, enjoy special allowances.

Ou Longxin, male, was born in Beijing in November 1968 and is originally from Chongqing. Medium ** member. In 1992, he obtained a bachelor's degree in law from China University of Political Science and Law. In 2006, he received a master's degree in philosophy of science and technology from the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. In 2004, he was a visiting scholar at California State University, Hayward, and the University of California, Berkeley. Xiong Guoxiang, male, born in September 1966, native of Huaiyang County, Henan Province, holds a master's degree and a doctorate. He graduated from Zhengzhou University in 1988 with a bachelor's degree in chemistryIn 1993, he received a master's degree in chemistry from Nankai UniversityIn 1996, he received his Ph.D. degree from the Institute of Photochemistry, Chinese Academy of SciencesIn July 2003, he was a senior visiting scholar at the University of Oxford. He has successively served as the deputy director, director and assistant director of the General Division of the Basic Science Bureau of the Chinese Academy of SciencesDirector of the Office of Xiangshan Science Conference and Academic Secretary. He was also the secretary of the Innovation Strategy Expert Committee of the China Development Strategy Research Association.

From December 2011 to June 2017, he served as the deputy director of the National Center for Nanoscience and participated in the preparation for the establishment of the Beijing Institute of Nanoenergy and Systems, Chinese Academy of Sciences. In June 2017, he was appointed as Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Committee of the National Center for Nanoscience. In July 2019, he was appointed as Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of the National Nanoscience Center.

Shi Xinghua, male, born in 1978, from Jiangsu, is a member of the middle school, a researcher, a doctoral supervisor, and a distinguished professor of UCAS. He is the winner of the National Outstanding Youth Program and the chief scientist of the National Key R&D Program "Nano Frontier".

Peng Hailin, male, born in 1978, from Hunan, Jiusan Society, Boya Distinguished Professor of Peking University, doctoral supervisor. He is a National Distinguished Young Scientist Recipient, a Changjiang Scholar Distinguished Professor of the Ministry of Education, a leading talent of the National Related Talent Program, a chief scientist of the National Key R&D Program, a fellow of the Chinese Chemical Society, and a member of the Nanoscience and Engineering Discipline Evaluation Group of the Academic Degree Committee.

Li Shuiqing, male, born in 1975, from Shandong, is a member of the middle school, a professor and a doctoral supervisor. He is the winner of the National Science Award for Distinguished Young Scientists, and the leading talent of the National Relevant Talent Program.

He obtained a bachelor's degree in thermal power engineering from Zhejiang University in July 1997, a doctorate degree in engineering thermophysics from Zhejiang University in July 2002, and a postdoctoral research in the Department of Thermal Engineering of Tsinghua University from July 2002 to September 2004. He joined Tsinghua University in October 2004 and has been a visiting scholar at the University of Leeds, the University of Iowa, Princeton University, Yale University and RWTH Aachen University. He is currently the vice president of the Research Institute of Tsinghua University, the director of the Chinese Society of Engineering Thermophysics and the deputy director of the Combustion Branch, the deputy director of the Space Science and Experiment Committee of the Chinese Society of Astronautics, and the deputy head of the overall expert group of the Ministry of Science and Technology of the 14th Five-Year Plan "Clean and Efficient Coal Utilization Technology". He is mainly engaged in the research of low-carbon combustion energy technology, advanced space propulsion power, multiphase particle transport and new energy material synthesis technology, and has published more than 180 SCI articles and authorized more than 20 patents, and has won the first prize of the Natural Science Award of the Ministry of Education and the first prize of the Invention and Entrepreneurship Award of the China Invention Association.

In October 2023, he was appointed as the deputy director of the National Center for Nanoscience.
