wpolityce.PL reports: Poland has warned Russia that it will be met with a harsh counterattack if there is another violation of its airspace. Poland's Deputy Minister Vladislav Theofir Bartoszewski made the above remarks after summoning the Chargé d'Affaires of the Russian Federation Andrei Ordash for a meeting.
As a form of solidarity with the massive Russian missile attack on the Ukrainian capital, Poland summoned the Russian ambassador and handed over the letter. In the letter, Poland demanded that Russia explain the violation of Polish airspace by its cruise missiles.
According to the deputy minister of Poland, he made it clear at the meeting that "the recurrence of such a thing will lead to a tough response from the Republic of Poland, which is a test of the effectiveness of our defense capability and defense methods".
I can assure you that if this happens again, we can respond quickly and efficiently. I warn the chargé d'affaires a.i. of ** to stop testing the borders of our country," he stressed, adding that if Russian missiles "dare to enter Polish airspace again, they will be shot down immediately."
On the night of December 29, Russia carried out a massive bombardment of Ukraine using drones and various types of missiles, hitting residential buildings and civilian infrastructure in many cities. According to the latest data, 30 people died and more than 160 were injured.
