Leshan Giant Buddha Scenic Area South Visitor Center is located at the south entrance of the scenic spot, Jiufeng Street, Big Buddha Street, Shizhong District, Leshan City, 2 kilometers away from the exit of the Big Buddha Scenic Area of Lezi Expressway, 4 kilometers away from the North Gate Square of the scenic spot, and is an important gateway to Chongqing, Yibin, Zigong and other directions in and out of the scenic spot. The project covers an area of 120 acres, with a total investment of 800 million yuan, divided into 4 single buildings and 1 comprehensive basement, including tourist service center, scenic digital command system, commercial supporting buildings, parking lots and other functional facilities, is the core support project of the scenic spot to build a high-quality south gate.
As the entrance of the southern tour line of the scenic spot and an important tourist distribution center, the South Visitor Center has 1,162 motor parking spaces (160 above ground and 1,002 underground), and supporting the construction of squares, public toilets, and green landscapes. In terms of commercial positioning, it will focus on mid-to-high-end quality, not only introducing chain brands such as McDonald's, KFC, Tex, Starbucks, etc., but also entering local brands such as local specialty snacks and top ten famous restaurants, reflecting local culture and meeting the characteristic needs of tourists.
After the project is completed and put into use, it will become a first-class comprehensive tourist distribution center in China that integrates ticket purchase, leisure, shopping, catering, parking and digital experience. At the same time, it greatly diverts and alleviates the pressure of tourism reception, connects the north-south traffic lines and tour routes of the scenic spot, and effectively improves the tourism traffic of the scenic spot.
