On the stage of life, everyone is the protagonist of their own destiny. However, when the script of fate is tampered with by others, how do we deal with it?

In June 2013, before the joy of the newlywed subsided, Ms. Zhang's husband Liu fell into the abyss of online gambling. From the initial petty fights to the later huge bets, Liu was like falling into a bottomless black hole and couldn't extricate himself. He borrowed money behind his family's back, just to satisfy his gambling desires. Ms. Zhang's heart was cut by a ruthless knife, and she was completely disappointed in her husband. On October 23, 2014, their marriage came to an end.

However, the divorce did not get Ms. Zhang out of trouble. Because Liu went out to hide from debts, she became the only target of creditors. In July 2017, the creditor Gao sued Liu and Ms. Zhang, demanding that they repay the principal of 100,000 yuan and the corresponding interest. In January 2018, the court held that the debt was a joint debt of the husband and wife, and the judgment required Ms. Zhang and Mr. Liu to jointly repay the debt. Ms. Zhang's life seems to have fallen into endless darkness.

However, even in the darkest moments, hope cannot be given up. In October 2018, Ms. Zhang found out that she was listed as a judgment defaulter, and she applied to the Jiangbei District Court for a retrial, but the court ruled to reject it. However, she didn't give up. In December 2020, Ms. Zhang came to the Jiangbei District Procuratorate for help. On January 4 this year, the Chongqing No. 1 Intermediate People's Court ruled that the Jiangbei District Court should retry the case.

She kept working hard and asking for help, just to make Liu realize her mistake and work hard to return to the family.

After years of hard work, Ms. Zhang finally successfully applied for a retrial in May 2021. This time, she told her family about her husband Liu's gambling, hoping to get their understanding and support. After the trial, the Chongqing No. 1 Intermediate People's Court finally revoked the original judgment and ordered Liu to bear the debt.

In October 2021, Ms. Zhang received a retrial judgment from the court, and Liu needs to bear full responsibility. This good news gave Ms. Zhang hope. She knew that she could finally escape the endless darkness and regain the joy of life.

The quagmire of gambling was finally broken free by Ms. Zhang, and she successfully got out of the predicament. This story is also a wake-up call for us: stay away from gambling, cherish your family, and work hard to live.
