The tallest stone prayer building in the country, the Dharani stone prayer building
Located in Zhao County, Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province, the Dharani stone scripture building, 16 high44 meters, was built in the Northern Song Dynasty Jingyou five years (1038), is the highest stone building in China.
The prayer building is eight ridges and seven layers, which is composed of three parts: the base, the body and the top. Among them, the pedestal has three layers, and the bottom layer is a square Sumeru seat, which is composed of two layers, including a lotus, a girdle, and two layers. Each side of the girdle is divided into three chambers with a bundle of lotus pillars, carved with vajra, wrestler and flame arches.
