Get in touch with nature
The trip to ** that I planned in 2013 has not been made due to various reasons, and finally my dream came true in April 2023. I don't like crowding, in order to avoid May Day, so I set off after the Qingming Festival, and my husband carried a backpack on my back and came to a dream trip that I said I would go.
From the evening of April 7th to the evening of April 30th, the whole trip lasted 23 days, and the total cost of 2 people was 15,000 yuan, including all the costs of food, accommodation, tickets, souvenirs and so on. I don't know if this is a poor trip, but at least we are very satisfied with the food, accommodation and transportation of the whole trip, and we don't feel wronged at all.
While I am still in the excitement of realizing my dreams, I will write down my experience for future meetings, and by the way, I will give you a reference itinerary.
Our entire itinerary is: Jiujiang - Lanzhou - Lhasa - Kunming - Lijiang - Dali - Nanning - Jiujiang. The whole journey is mainly sleeper trains, but there are also planes, bullet trains and hard seats; The main transportation in the area is buses, subways, and the occasional taxiThe accommodation is a homestay and a budget hotel, and the last trip was a 2-day hostel in Nanning; The food is basically local snacks and one or two local specialty shops with high ratings on reviews, and the others are random local shops.
When I got home, the two people added up their mobile phone payment records, about 15,000 yuan, in addition to the fixed expenses listed below, we traveled freely for 17 days in 23 days, and the total cost of eating and local transportation and buying some local specialties was about 2,500, which was converted into about 70 yuan per person per day.

Every time I go to play, I like to stay in hostels and hostels, because only these places can meet people from different places, and the hotels are basically in their own rooms, and it is difficult to meet some interesting people. The people I met along the way were really kind, but I didn't have a deep chat, so I didn't know much, so I picked a few people who I had chatted with and recorded them briefly.
The first is the owner of the Lhasa Yiran Cat Inn, a post-90s Shanxi girl, she is a big V with millions of fans, her own story everyone is interested in going to a certain sound to see, I can make up my mind to go ** this time, in a sense, I was also stimulated by her a little, at that time she asked how many months to go **, she replied that depending on her mood, you can set off at any time if you want to, so I really went away, thank her very much.
The second is another young man who doesn't know the name of the inn, casually chatted a few words, he came to Lhasa by train hard seat, he also went to several cities before, like to collect the signatures of various post offices, this time the time is limited, I went around the city for 2 days, went to see the Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, and climbed Nanshan Park, and then reported a half-day group to go to Sheep Lake and a 3-day group to Nyingchi, other places said that they would come again next time, I admired him very much.
The third one I also met in this inn, and the only one who took the initiative to add WeChat and wanted to pay attention to it all the time, was Uncle Caoxin'er, who was riding a motorcycle around China, and he once hiked for 10 days with Lei Diansheng, the author of "Ten Years of Backpacking". Although she doesn't speak English, she has been to more than 70 countries so far, and plans to take her daughter around China on other routes. He was very enthusiastic, and when he learned that I liked Mr. Lei's books, he sent Mr. Lei ** on the spot, and told me a lot of interesting things between them, and he was very grateful.
The fourth is the owner of the romantic inn in the old town of Lijiang, looking at the young boss, thinking that he is a few years older than himself, but the boss's son is already 18 years old, she also likes to play around when she is young, and then she wants to stay in Lijiang, and opens an inn, and sleeps and drinks tea in the small courtyard in the peak season, and travels to other places in the off-season, and lives are very comfortable.
The fifth is to meet a girl who has just returned from playing in Thailand in Dali Youth Hostel, she is reading and drinking coffee in the dormitory as a whole, and she is also a travel expert who walks around the world, saying that she does not plan to get married in this life, so she will be a digital nomad and walk around the world. She has basically traveled all over the country, she has studied abroad before, so her English is very good, and now she prefers to play around abroad and explore the world with different people.
The following are all running accounts, if you are interested, you can take a look, the main purpose is to record what you have seen and heard along the way, and keep it for future memories.
We started from Jiujiang, the train sleeper in the early morning of April 8 went to Lanzhou, in order to eat authentic Lanzhou ramen, booked a hotel next to the train station for one night, and walked around Lanzhou all day on the 9th.
When I arrived in Lanzhou, I learned that Lanzhou ramen is not Lanzhou at all, but the most authentic Lanzhou in Qinghai is the Lanzhou beef noodles that can be seen everywhere, and if you order beef noodles alone, there is no beef in it at all, only a few pieces of white radish, and other side dishes and beef need to be ordered separately.
I chose the time-honored beef noodles of Moyangou that is the first popular in Lanzhou noodles, and found a place for half an hour + queued for half an hour, only to know that authentic Lanzhou beef noodles are all "one clear (soup) two white (radish) three green (coriander garlic sprouts) four red (spicy) five yellow (noodles yellow and bright)" unified standard, spicy looks spicy, in fact, it is not spicy at all, so I ordered the beef noodles that everyone ordered +Beef, although it took almost 1 hour to eat, but the first bite of the feeling is worth it, the spicy is really fragrant, the noodles are very strong, the beef is also delicious, many people even drank the soup, I personally think that Lanzhou beef noodles are better than Lanzhou ramen.
In the evening, I went to Zhengning Night Market and ate the tip of the tongue Ma Ye milk egg mash, before eating it I felt like the mash egg soup that my hometown often used to entertain guests, I didn't expect the ingredients to be so rich, milk + mash + eggs + white fungus + raisins + sesame + peanuts + others, I personally think it is fragrant and delicious, not sweet and greasy, a faint smell of sake lees, and I drink completely warm and warm [pleasant].
ps: There are at least 5-6 on this street, all of them are white-bearded grandfather chefs, all of whom say that they are CCTV shooting booths, but only No. 44 has the longest queue, and the locals who asked the queue said that only this is the most authentic, usually there are more people on Friday and Saturday nights, and today is quite less, so I couldn't help but join the queue of Wu Yangyang, and took a few close-ups of the old man to pass the time.
Only stayed in Lanzhou for a short day, went to Lanzhou University + Zhongshan Bridge + Baitashan Park + Children's Palace + Zhengning Night Market, the overall feeling is very good, the road is clean and tidy, the public transportation is convenient and cheap, the food is delicious and the accommodation is affordable, I go to these places and Xi'an is very similar to the antique buildings, people who live by the Yangtze River see the Yellow River for the first time or very excited.
On the morning of the 9th, I took a sleeper from Lanzhou to Lhasa, arrived in Lhasa at noon on the 10th, and spent 1 yuan on the bus to find a good Yiran cat inn on the Internet.
When I first arrived in Lhasa, Gao was not as serious as I imagined, but I was a little dizzy, and I was a little panting when I walked and talked, which was an acceptable level, so that I would not need to take oxygen.
In the afternoon, after sleeping in the inn for a while, I started to eat and eat in Lhasa, and tried Tibetan noodles, beef patties, and sweet tea
Checked in to the Internet celebrity store Jixiang Shengxue Tibetan Meal, tried the 2 signature dishes inside: Kangba Hanzi and Jixiang Shengxue, the proprietress enthusiastically took us to visit her home, introduced the family history and various collections, and also gave us Hada and King Kong knots, which were particularly enthusiastic and happy.
After eating, of course, I went to see the night view of the Potala Palace, and when I arrived in Lhasa, I knew that it was not dark until after 8 o'clock, and I felt that the time of the day was 2 hours longer. Although I have seen a lot of **and** of the Potala Palace, I really arrived at the scene, and I still felt very shocked, and the square was full of people taking pictures in various poses at night.
On the second day in Lhasa, the high reaction was basically gone, and the head was no longer dizzy, but he was still a little panting when he walked, and sure enough, as long as the mentality was good, the high reaction was not so terrible [jumping].
Wednesday is the fortune day of Zaki Temple, I originally thought that I would live next to it, I could get up early and go over, but I didn't expect to get up late, crowded with people, decisively gave up queuing, and casually found a popular teahouse for breakfast and sweet tea, feeling the slow life of the locals [coffee].
After breakfast, I originally planned to go to Nanshan Park to overlook the entire Lhasa city, but the transfer station waited for the car and found that the sun was too hot, and I was afraid that I would lose a layer of skin when I climbed the mountain, so I decisively changed the itinerary and went directly to the ** museum.
The visit can be booked for free on the spot, the venue is really magnificent, the visit content is also rich, all kinds of ** explanations and text introductions, as well as full shadow technology restoration, is the only one I have been to at present I feel that I can understand most of the museums without looking for a tour guide to explain [love].
We went in at 12 o'clock, visited the Million Serf Emancipation Memorial Hall + the closest person to the sun *** folk culture exhibition, it was half past 3 o'clock in the afternoon, and the ** history and development history exhibition hall did not go to see, the observation deck was to go up and turn around, it was really hungry and growling, and the feet were tired, so I took the car and went straight to the Tamura sour soup yak hot pot [color] near the Potala Palace recommended by the innkeeper
Arrived at the store at 4 o'clock, bought a 2-3 people**, just on the table felt that it was not enough to eat, but it turned out that two people really ate well, because it was so delicious!I'm not a person who is prone to extreme adjectives, but this hot pot is really the best pot base I think I have eaten so far, and of course the beef and side dishes are also delicious, and if it weren't for the limited capacity of my stomach, I could have drunk that soup.
After eating and drinking, I went to visit the Potala Palace, went to the foot of Yaowang Mountain to take a 50 yuan filming location, and went to the nearby park to sit for a while.
Today is a very complete day, but!Today's biggest surprise was to return to the inn and meet 3 guests who just came to stay today! An uncle is riding a motorcycle around China (he has traveled to more than 70 countries before, including the Antarctic and the North Pole), and two little brothers, one from Shanxi to Tibet on a motorcycle, and the other has just arrived in Lhasa by train.
Because everyone's topic revolves around an uncle who is traveling around China, so I know the most about him, and I accidentally talked about Mr. Lei Diansheng, I said that I watched his "Ten Years of Hiking China" many years ago, and I was so impressed, I admired him, and then the uncle immediately dialed Mr. Lei's ** chat [God], it turned out that the uncle hiking with Mr. Lei for 10 days, walked more than 400 kilometers, and has been a good friend since then, I am really stunned!
Uncle also shared some small stories between him and Mr. Lei, as well as some of his own road experiences, all of which were very interesting, but what impressed me the most was what he said, after walking through so many places, his biggest feeling is that all powerful people are actioners who say they do it, and many things are thought about the more they think about it, the more they don't take action in the end, because they really want to only have difficulties and do them to have answers.
It's true, my trip to ** was an impulsive ticket, and I turned my dream into a reality in an instant, and after I came, I found that most of my previous worries were superfluous.
After staying in Lhasa City for 2 days to adapt to the high reaction, I couldn't wait to sign up for a local group to travel around. Lhasa around the tour is a local 8-person pure play small group recommended by the inn owner, 6 days and 5 nights of the trip, 2700 yuan people, because the driver's salary is negotiated with the travel agency, so there is no shopping point throughout the whole process, the real pure play, the driver is to help drive and arrange accommodation, I feel very value-for-money, the specific itinerary we chose is:
Lhasa - Mila Pass - Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon - Suosong Village - Nanga Bhava Peak Sunrise - Gongdelin Grassland - Dagu Gorge - Zedang - Gangbala Mountain - Sheep Lake - Karola Glacier - Manla Reservoir - Shigatse - Dingri - Gyatsola Pass - Everest Base Camp - Jiaula Pass - Nimu Grassland - Dangxiong - Northern Tibet Grassland - Nagenla Pass - Nam Tso - Tashi Peninsula - Lhasa, basically want to go everywhere, the beautiful scenery along the way really meets all the expectations of people who come to ** for the first time.
I have been on the road for a few days with the group, and I have checked in all the places listed in the itinerary. Each place has its own unique memory points.
The prayer flags of the Mira Pass, the sunrise of the Nanga Bhava Peak.
The steepness of the Brahmaputra Grand Canyon.
Nyingchi's peach blossoms.
Dar Valley Canyon inside the bold monkeys and.
The Carora Glacier encounters heavy snowfall.
The turquoise water of Manla Reservoir and the green orchid of Sheep Lake.
Sunset over Mount Everest.
The starry sky photographed at the Everest base camp.
Sunrise over Mount Everest.
Namtso and Tanggula Mountain.
Go to the 108th turn of the Everest base camp.
Other scenery along the way.
Every attraction is worth the trip along the way.
But the most recommended is Sheep Lake, which is really beautiful from any angle, the color is emerald blue, and the lake water is crystal clear, and I can't help but secretly pick up a few stones from the lake.
After the end of the tour, I returned to Lhasa and stayed for 2 days, of course, to go to the Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple, which have various murals and Buddha statues, if there is no tour guide to explain, I really can't understand it at all. But to be honest, when the tour guide spoke, I felt that the tour guide spoke really well, and I learned a lot, but as soon as I came out of it, I didn't seem to remember anything, embarrassed.
I always feel very lucky, I looked up and saw the Buddha's light when I visited the Potala Palace, met the debate when I was about to leave after visiting the Jokhang Temple, saw the sunrise and sunset and the sunshine of the golden mountain on Mount Everest, picked up a pair of complete yak horns in Namco and went to the ice for a ......
* A total of 10 days of travel, this trip is a perfect dream, there is no serious high reaction, a bottle of oxygen is not used, everyone met is kind, every attraction visited is accompanied by additional surprises, every meal eaten also feels good value for money, every inn and B&B where you live has a good atmosphere, you really can't find any picky places [love].
The only regret is that the vegetation has not yet fully grown and the water is not abundant, so the grasslands and canyons are not so spectacular, and the ice in Namco has not melted, and the color of the sacred lake has not been seen.
But as they said, if you only come once in your life, you will definitely leave regrets, not to mention that there are so many places you haven't visited, so I'm looking forward to the next **trip [happy].
From Lhasa to Kunming is a plane, more than 2 hours of travel, directly from the snow-capped mountains into Kunming, which is like spring all year round, a little ** trip is an illusion of a dream. The main purpose of coming to Kunming is to meet friends who have not met since graduating from college, so I also stayed for a short day, had 2 dinners with friends, tried Dai food for the first time, and felt that the taste was very good.
The first impression of Kunming is a very pyrotechnic city, there are all kinds of hawkers everywhere you go, the scenery of Daguanlou Park is also super good, you saw the first long couplet, sat by the lotus pond and blew the wind for a day, very pleasant.
But the overall traffic experience is not very good, the bus departure interval is too long, miss a trip to wait for almost 15 minutes to half an hour, and Jiujiang bus has a fight [bitter];Although the subway interval is short, it seems that you can't go directly to any scenic spot, so you need to transfer to a bus or walkTaxis are plentiful and convenient, but they seem to be more expensive than other places.
From Kunming to Lijiang is a double-decker sleeper car, sleep to Lijiang, save a night of accommodation costs, very cost-effective.
Lijiang is really a very beautiful city, the same as Lhasa, surrounded by mountains, not high, you can see lush mountains everywhere, flowers are blooming everywhere, it is really refreshing and pleasing to the eye, and there are very mature tourist facilities, convenient transportation, the bus can also directly brush the payment code, do not need to need a local bus code like other cities, it is particularly friendly to tourists.
I originally planned to play in Lijiang for 2 days, but I just came back from **, I didn't have much impulse to Yulong Snow Mountain and Lugu Lake, and I didn't have much interest in the ancient tea horse road and Lashi Lake, so I went to Lijiang Eternal Scene Area, watched Lijiang Love Song and Lijiang Eternal Love Live Performance, very shocked, learned about some local minority culture and caravan culture, and it was worth the ticket price [jump].
I also ate Naxi rice cakes, roasted milk fans, roasted bait blocks, local chicken rice noodles, pork rib rice noodles, Lijiang baba and other local snacks, visited the night market in the ancient city, and lived in the homestay in the ancient city, so today I really have no other places to go and food I want to eat, so I decided to go to Dali to go around.
The overall feeling of Lijiang is still good, a very casual tourist city, the old town of Lijiang is also antique, but the things sold in the store are too similar, it is really a three-step flower cake shop, a five-step photo shop, the other is silverware, jewelry, specialties, travel agencies, clothing stores, inns, food, musical instruments, etc., I personally feel that it is not as good as the morning when the shops are not open to go shopping, antique buildings and flowers and gurgling water everywhere, there is really a kind of beauty of quiet time.
The hard seat of the train from Lijiang to Dali is 3 hours away, which is more than 1 hour slower than the bullet train but is cheaper, and I feel that I have saved a sum of money, haha.
I stayed in Dali for a total of four days, visited the museum, and felt that there were a lot of venues, but I didn't explain that I basically couldn't understand it, because each cultural relic was just written a name and unearthed place and dynasty, and there was no other introduction, so I just looked at it roughly.
Of course, when you arrive in Dali, you will definitely go to the ancient city, and I personally feel that it is much more magnificent than the old town of Lijiang, although the commercial atmosphere is also very strong, but the things sold are still some characteristics.
We stumbled upon the museum of the Temple of Literature, which sold cinnabar beads with lettering. In fact, cinnabar beads can be bought anywhere, but the back of the beads bought here is said to be the original Chinese character of Tang Bohu in Suzhou Tang Yinyuan, which means very good: only when you see talent every day can you have wealth, every day you see talent, every day you have wealth, every day you have (talent) wealth. (There is also a store selling cinnabar beads downstairs in Wuhua, but the back of the beads is engraved with the ancient city building of Wuhua Building, not this word) because it can not be bought elsewhere, and it is sold by the Confucian Temple Museum, so I bought a string of names for the children in the family, although the engraved cinnabar beads are only 5 yuan, but the other small beads that need to be matched with the finished product are 5-50 yuan a piece, so my small pendant cost 80 yuan, and it feels a little expensive.
The rest of the time in Dali is around Erhai Lake, the most exaggerated day is 2 people walked nearly 25 kilometers!!
That day, I was going to go to Erhai Lake after breakfast, but I decided to walk to the ancient city and buy some souvenirs by the way.
Although it is very laborious, the scenery and experience along the way must be well recorded, I met the warriors in Erhai Lake, the Xingsheng Bridge with a very European style, the old house in the typical Bai style, the ruins of Taihe City in the Nanzhao period, the Cangshan Botanical Garden, Guanyin Pond, the villagers working in the fields, and also picked up an unknown object on the side of the road that was identified as Ganoderma lucidum by Alipay AI.
By the way, I was very fortunate to be the last two people to climb the Dali Archives that day, because I just went up to sit for a while and was ready to overlook the Erhai Lake, and I met the administrator to close the city gate.
Along the way, I also saw the wind of Cangshan and the changeable weather of Dali, the sky was clear in the morning, and it rained in the afternoon, and the thunder was gusting, I was very lucky, I was in the super quiet Taihe City Ruins, so there was a pavilion to hide from the rain, listening to the rolling thunder and the sound of the rain, and then looking at the ancient buildings and trees around it, the atmosphere really had the illusion of time travel.
The rain of Dali came and went quickly, when it came out of the ruins it was a sunny day again, and then after a while, it was the rain that came again, this time it was super lucky to just go to Guanyin Pond, so you can go in to hide from the rain again, by the way, visit it again, and come out after the worship is the scorching sun.
On the last day before leaving Dali, I went to Jinsuo Island to blow the wind and listen to the waves to pick up stones, and met an old man who was at least 70 years old and went into the water, and the body was great and picked up a very beautiful big stone, I felt that it looked good on the table, although it was very heavy, and I carried it all the way home.
Regarding Dali's food, because most of them have been tried in Lijiang, Baipi did not dare to try it, and did not deliberately find any Internet celebrity stores to check in in Dali, but the chicken shredded cold rice noodles eaten near the residence, Zhaotong small meat skewers and Haixiao fish taste very good.
There is only a bullet train from Dali to Nanning, and it takes 7 hours to arrive, and I have to sigh at the speed of China's bullet train. The main reason for coming to Nanning is to eat authentic snail noodles for one night, because I have been in Shenzhen for 8 years, and I often eat snail noodles at night, but I have always been curious about why there are no snails in snail noodlesHaha, sure enough, a foodie.
On the first night of Nanning, in order to see the three streets and two alleys that are said to be a must-check in Nanning, I walked all the way from the B&B, passing through Xiguan Night Market and Xiguan Xintiandi on the way, crowded with people, so lively, the railway station is very quiet and many shops are closed, I feel that Xiguan Night Market is a time tunnel, separated by 2 different worlds.
The next day, I went to Qingxiu Mountain to check in for the title of 5A scenic spot, the ticket was 20, I don't know how big it is, I didn't buy a sightseeing ticket, and I didn't go to a lot of attractions when I went to the broken leg, so I went to Guanyin Temple, Zhuangyuanquan and the Anti-Japanese Student Army Monument. But it feels like a botanical garden, all kinds of plants are very rich, the scenery is very good, there are fewer people at present, it is very quiet, there is a performance during the May Day holiday, so the day is purely to visit the park.
In the evening, I went to the old table snail duck foot pot with a good rating on the public reviews, and ordered a 2-3 people**, the taste is good and the portion is sufficient, and I eat it to support, I especially like the farmer's roasted tofu and spicy grilled fish inside, it is really delicious, and now I will drool when I think about it.
On the last day of Nanning, I went to visit the museum of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, which is very large, there are more than a dozen venues on 2 floors, but the most important thing is the 3 large exhibition halls on the first floor, I have seen a variety of cultural relics from ancient times to the present, and I have a rough understanding of some of the history and humanities of Guangxi. I really couldn't do it, so I finally bought a commemorative coin printed with a bronze phoenix lantern with a feather pattern of the Western Han Dynasty on the vending machine, 20 yuan.
From the evening of April 7 from Jiujiang to the evening of April 30 back to Jiujiang, the longest wandering life has ended, perfectly avoiding the congestion of May Day.
At this point, the place I want to go to in the country is almost gone, and it is estimated that there will be no similar long-term travel in two years, and the biggest feeling this time is that it is not so difficult to realize my dreams, and I am really too small, life is short, and I must live a good life according to my own wishes.
I always wanted to travel around the world after retirement, but now I feel that I must fulfill this dream while I am young, and when I am old, I will help my daughter take care of the children, so that she can also pursue her dream while she is young.
I like the 2 paragraphs in "Review of the Five Regrets of Life":
In fact, our lives could be simpler. We don't need as much money as we think we need. Stopping once in a while and giving yourself a little more time off will really make you happier and more motivated to meet life's challenges.
On the road of life, give yourself at least a few opportunities to take risks and try those dreams in your heart. Especially when our physical condition allows, we should strive to pursue what we want and love in life. The freedom that health brings to people is rarely recognized, and they often regret it until they lose it.
