Bearing model table, bearing code full analysis!

According to the different nominal contact angles of bearings, bearing codes can be divided into two types: radial bearings and thrust bearings.

Bearing designations are used to indicate the structure, size, type and accuracy of rolling bearings. It consists of three parts: a prefix code, a basic code, and a suffix code.

1. Pre-code

The prefix designation of the bearing is used to indicate the components of the bearing, which are indicated by letters.

For example, L is used to represent a detachable bearing with a removable ring, K is used to represent the rolling element and cage assembly of the bearing, and a stainless steel bearing can be added with the pre-designation S, SS, etc.

2. Basic coding

The basic code consists of three parts, namely the type code, the size series code and the inner diameter code. Today, I will focus on the analysis of the size code of the bearing.

Size classification code

The size series designation is used to denote bearings with the same inner diameter, but with different outer diameters and widths. It is located after the type designation and consists of the width series code and the diameter series code of the bearing.

(1) The diameter series of the bearing can be indicated by the third digit of the basic code.

This figure reflects the change in the outer diameter and width of bearings with the same structure and the same inner diameter.

For example, for radial bearings and radial thrust bearings, 0 and 1 represent the extra light series;2 indicates the light series;3 indicates the medium series;4 indicates a heavy series. These series correspond to a series of diameters with increasing outer diameters, and the specific outer diameter sizes are equal (note that they are smaller sizes).

In addition, except for the code 1 of the extra-light series, the code of other series is the same as that of the radial bearing.

2) The width series of the bearing refers to the series of changes in the width of the bearing with the same structure, inner diameter and diameter series. The width series is represented by the fourth digit in the base code.

Normally, normal width bearings are not marked and default to "0". In addition, there are different width sizes, arranged in increasing order to form a series of widths.

Thrust bearings are designed for different width series of radial bearings, and are divided into four height series with increasing dimensions of equal height.

Example: Type 6010 bearings are suitable for light loads and high speeds;

Type 6210 bearings belong to the light series, suitable for the application of carrying light loads and reasonable speeds, and are widely used in various fields;

Type 6310 bearings are medium and heavy series;

Type 6410 bearings are part of the heavy-duty series and are suitable for heavy loads and low speeds.

Medium-duty and medium-heavy series are the most widely used, including all kinds of mechanical transmission components, small and medium-sized motors, assembly line conveyor belts, motorcycles and other mechanical equipment almost all use these two types of bearings.

(3) Inner diameter code

In general, the inner diameter of a bearing can be calculated by multiplying its inner diameter code (the last two digits of the base designation) by 5, for example, the inner diameter of bearing 6204 is 04 times 5 equals 20 mm.
