On November 15, 2023, the Certification and Accreditation Association of China (CCAA) issued the Notice on Announcing the Pilot Units of the Group Standard of "Carbon Management System Requirements", and Kiwa BCC was approved as a pilot certification body and a pilot training institution.

The CCAA 39-2022 "Carbon Management System Requirements" group standard is of great value and significance for exploring and promoting carbon management system certification and building confidence in carbon management for all relevant parties. As the first batch of pilot certification bodies and pilot training institutions, Kiwa BCC will strictly follow the requirements of the pilot work plan, conscientiously promote the implementation, and summarize innovative practices and typical experiences in a timely manner to provide customers with scientific, fair, accurate and efficient carbon management certification services.

About the Carbon Management System Requirements

In order to implement the "dual carbon" action, give full play to the role of the China Certification and Accreditation Association as a group standard, and scientifically and efficiently promote the standardization of "double carbon", the China Certification and Accreditation Association officially released the group standard "Carbon Management System Requirements" (T CCAA 39-2022) on June 15, 2022.

The "Carbon Management System Requirements" standard is based on the concept of life cycle carbon management, adopts risk and opportunity thinking, and follows the management principle of "planning-implementing-inspection-improvement" (PDCA) continuous improvement, and puts forward normative requirements for various organizations to carry out carbon management activities and improve carbon management performance. At the same time, the standard is suitable for the carbon management system requirements of various organizations, and can be used by various organizations of the first party, second party and third party.
