On November 28, experts from the Zhangdian District Education Research Center visited Zhangdian No. 7 Middle School for teaching guidance, aiming to further promote curriculum reform, strengthen teaching management, implement education policies, promote teachers' professional development, and improve the quality of school education and teaching.
The relevant person in charge of the school reported on the exploration of Zhangdian No. 7 Middle School in improving the effectiveness of the classroom from four aspects: curriculum system construction, core literacy cultivation, school-based research and guidance, and teacher quality improvement. In particular, it is pointed out that subject knowledge is not directly supplied, but indirectly provided in the form of situations, problems, tasks, and projects, and that students can only truly understand the knowledge and transfer it to other contexts when they learn by doing, using, and creating.
Subsequently, the inspection team went deep into the classroom to observe the regular teaching, and listened to a total of 16 classes, covering the graduating class and the non-graduating class, involving eight subjects such as Chinese, English, physics, chemistry and history. Teachers of each subject carefully select the teaching content to fully mobilize the enthusiasm of students. In the classroom, in addition to the mastery of knowledge, teachers also pay special attention to students' emotional experience and personality development, and respond to students' questions in a timely manner through interactive communication, so as to truly realize what they have learned.
After class, the teaching and research staff of various disciplines organized course evaluation and discussion activities, conducted in-depth exchanges with teachers, fully affirmed the professional quality and good teaching organization ability of the teachers, and combined with the direction of the reform of the high school entrance examination and the cutting-edge educational theory research, on the basis of in-depth analysis of the teaching content, put forward targeted improvement suggestions, providing new ideas and directions for the school's teaching work.
This teaching inspection activity is not only an inspection and guidance of teaching work, but also a spur and encouragement to all teachers.
