This is the seventh day of duty for Fan Yuming and his colleagues in Gaoli Village, and more than 10 pages of such notes have been written.
Patrols began at 9 a.m. and went through all the tents at the site until 11:30 p.m. to check whether each household was fully staffed, whether the stove chimney was clear, and whether there was any risk to electricity. If there is a safety hazard, Fan Yuming and his colleagues will remind and assist the villagers to rectify it. At the end of each patrol, it is often 2 a.m. the next day.
