Special question words are usually placed at the beginning of a sentence, but there are exceptions. For example, when answering a question sentence, a special question word can be placed at the beginning of the answer sentence.

When answering a question sentence, a special question word can be placed in the middle or end of the answer sentence, but this is rare.
