The number one influencer, MrBeast s analytics platform, ViewStats, has launched a beta version

One of the top YouTubers in the United States, Mrbeast (Jimmy Donaldson) co-founded a new analytics platform, ViewStats, which is now available in beta. Similar to tools like Social Blade, ViewStats leverages the YouTube API to publish detailed statistics for your channel, which can be seen by both creators and their fans.

It's no accident that Mrbeast is one of the highest-paid creators. He's meticulous about every detail – he recently ran a b test to see if his thumbnails with his mouth open perform better or those with no mouth open (obviously, thumbnails with closed mouths are better). So, if he thinks that certain metrics are a must-have for an analytics platform, then those metrics are likely to be important.

ViewStats was co-founded by Cucky Appleby, creator who worked with MrBeast, and it stood out for its star power. Star-backed startups aren't always as popular as they seem, but in this case, the power of stars is still not to be underestimated. At that time, I was hosting a panel discussion on understanding YouTube's algorithms. The seats filled up quickly, and many people couldn't even get in at the door. Creators, regardless of their genre, want to hear what this king of algorithms has to say.

Like Social Blade, ViewStats also displays basic information such as the number of subscribers, monthly ad revenue estimates, views, and how these data fluctuate over a specific period of time. ViewStats is also available as an extension of the Chrome browser. Appleby says the platform will add more tools in the future, including a thumbnail analysis tool. At the moment, it's unclear how the platform plans to monetize, but Social Blade does so by paying for some of the more advanced analytics.

According to TubeFilter, ViewStats is a separate company from Mrbeast, LLC. Both Mrbeast and CEO Appleby fund the company with their own money.
