At the turn of the Neolithic Age, the ancestors of China were witnessed to settle down in agriculture, form families and societies, establish early beliefs and cultural aesthetics, begin exchanges between the five lakes and seas, form regional ancient states and early civilizations, open the dynasty era of the Xia, Shang and Zhou dynasties, and the great process of establishing a unified multi-ethnic state in the Qin and Han dynasties. The creative team combed through more than 3 million words of academic materials and wrote 400,000 words of scripts. Based on solid and multidisciplinary archaeological research results, a total of 220 narrative scenes, 2,268 costumes, 1,500 ornaments, and more than 3,600 props were restored during the filming stage of historical scenes.
