From gasoline to electric, Audi is making an unprecedented transition. Recently, a set of low-camouflage spy photos of the production versions of the Audi Q6 e-tron and Q6 e-tron Sportback were revealed by foreign media**, revealing Audi's new design and concept on electric models. The new model will also be produced in China in 2024.
First, let's take a look at the Audi Q6 e-tron. The car retains Audi's usual sophistication and grandeur, with a new closed, large-mouthed grille design that embodies both Audi's signature elements and its electric identity. The design of the deflector grooves on both sides of the lower envelope is not only beautiful, but also adds to the sportiness of the vehicle. The slender and sharp headlight cluster undoubtedly enhances the visual impact of the vehicle, and the matrix LED light source inside strengthens its sense of technology.
The straight roofline, as well as the slightly downward sloping rear of the roof, give the car a more dynamic look. The charging socket is located above the left rear wheel, which is designed with the convenience of charging in mind. The through-type taillight design at the tail, as well as the shape of the taillights with thick ends and narrow middle, not only enhance the layering of the tail, but also make people impressive.
Then there's the Audi Q6 e-tron Sportback. The car is largely the same as the Q6 e-tron in the front end, but the biggest difference is its large fastback coupe styling. This gives the roofline a smoother and sportier look. It is also equipped with continuous taillights, which are further enhanced by a spoiler above them.
In terms of interior, according to the previous announcement, the two cars will share a set of interior design. This set of interiors is finished with 119-inch LCD instrument cluster as well as 14The curved screen shape composed of the 5-inch central touch screen serves as the visual focus. The wrap-around design extends from the doors to the entire cockpit to the center console, creating a sense of space that stretches out. The new car will be equipped with a new in-vehicle infotainment platform, which is based on the Android in-vehicle system and supports OTA upgrades.
The powertrain is another highlight of the Audi Q6 e-tron and Q6 e-tron Sportback. Both cars are fully electric, with a maximum power of 375 hp and a corresponding WLTP range of more than 600 km. In terms of battery, the new car will be equipped with a 100 kWh battery and will be equipped with an 800V platform. This means that they can achieve a super-fast charge of 270 kilowatts, and it takes about 30 minutes to charge from 10% to 80%.
