Several of the founding generals of New China were military doctors, which may not be clear to many people. For example, "Dr. of the Red Army" Tu Tong, "Red Army Hua Tuo" He Biao, Lieutenant General Fu Lianhuan, and Major General Qian Xinzhong were all born as military doctors. And the founding major general we are about to introduce is also a military doctor and is highly regarded. He was the only founding general to graduate with a degree in nursing and made many contributions to the Chinese Revolution. The founding major general was Jiang Qixian, who was the vice minister of the Ministry of Agriculture and Reclamation. Jiang Qixian was born in Loudi Town, Xiangxiang County, Hunan Province in 1905, and was born in a small merchant family with a good family background. Although his family is well-off, Kang Chi-hyun was fortunate to receive an education. In 1923, he became a ** in Xiangya Hospital, at that time male ** was very rare, and even in today's society, the proportion of male ** is not high.
Two years later, Jiang Qixian graduated from ** College and went to the 1st Battalion of the 12th Regiment of the 3rd Division of the Hunan Army as a military doctor. In that chaotic era, doctors and ** were very scarce, so Kang Qixian was very popular. The following year, Jiang Qixian participated in the Northern Expedition and worked in the 1st Division and 2nd Regiment of the National Revolutionary Army. So, when did Jiang Qixian join the Chinese Red Army and the Communist Party? It was in 1931 during a battle in Laoyingpan, Jiangxi. In this battle, Jiang Qixian became a prisoner of our army. After coming into contact with the Chinese Red Army, Jiang Qixian began to really understand the Red Army. He found that the Red Army was very different from the old army in that not only did not corporal punishment of soldiers, but also treated prisoners as favorably as possible. If the prisoners did not want to join the Red Army, the Red Army would also pay them to return home. These were unheard of for Jiang Qixian, so he developed an inexplicable liking for the Red Army.
In addition, as a medical worker, Kang Qixian's addition was undoubtedly urgently needed for the Red Army. Therefore, the Red Army asked Jiang Qixian to stay, and finally Jiang Qixian decided to join the Red Army. Jiang Qixian was quickly promoted many times with his outstanding work ability, and successively served as the medical director and chief of the military medical department of the Seventh Division of the Red Army, the deputy minister and director of the health department of the Red First Army, the director of the health department of the Red First Army, and the deputy director and director of the General Health Department of the ** Military Commission. During his time in Yan'an, he was highly regarded as the Minister of Health and founded the journal Health Construction, which greatly improved the basic quality of health workers in the region. During the period of New China, Jiang Qixian successively served as the deputy minister and minister of health of the ** Military Commission, the vice president of the Senior Logistics School of the Military Commission, and the director of education of the Logistics School.
However, the advent of the special period gave him a lot of setbacks, and in 1970 he was arranged to work in the 57 Cadre School. Until June 3, 1976, the founding major general Jiang Qixian died of illness in Beijing at the age of 71. It is worth mentioning that Jiang Qixian's son-in-law is General He Bingyan, the founding general of the People's Republic of China, who is also the founding general of our country. And the sons and grandsons of Major General Jiang Qixian are also very outstanding talents. Jiang Junlu was once admitted to the Kazakh military industry, and the people who were able to enter the Kazakh military industry at that time were extremely talented. During his time at the university, Jiang Junlu received high-quality technical training, and then was highly valued by the organization, and successively served as deputy director of the Science and Technology Planning Bureau, deputy director and director of the Science and Technology Department, director of the Development Planning Department of the State Development Planning Commission, and chairman of the board of supervisors of key large state-owned enterprises.
Jiang Junlu's son, Jiang Zhe, is a department-level cadre and former president of the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textiles. This family is a hero for the country and the people, and they deserve our deep tribute. (*Feng Xiaowei, "Overview of Party History", 2009.)9, "Jiang Qixian: ** Heavy Military Doctor Major General". )
