On December 21, the Sunshine Child Growth Center (referred to as the Growth Center) of Linwu County No. 1 Complete Primary School was officially unveiled, realizing the transformation of Linwu County's education association from "helping students" to "helping hearts", and opening a new chapter in its care for the mental health growth of the next generation. The growth center was built by the Linwu County Education Association with an investment of more than 20 yuan and a wholly-owned donation, and it is the first growth center to be completed and unveiled after the Linwu County Education Association launched the "Sunshine Youth Growth Plan" project this year. At present, the growth center can provide five characteristic psychological spaces: reception area, relaxation area, catharsis area, sand table room, and group auxiliary area, and 5 teachers with psychological counselor qualifications are responsible for daily management and work.
In recent years, Linwu County attaches great importance to student mental health education, on the one hand, the Education Bureau and other relevant functional departments jointly issued the "Implementation Plan for Further Strengthening Student Mental Health Education", clarifying the detailed rules for financial guarantee, position construction, characteristic creation, class time setting, supervision and evaluation, etc., and initially built a psychological education team with full-time psychological teachers as the leader, full-time and part-time psychological teachers as the backbone, and class teachers as the main body, and established and improved the psychological early warning mechanism for primary and secondary school students in the forefront of Chenzhou CityOn the other hand, the county education association launched the "Sunshine Youth Growth Plan" project, mobilized all parties to participate in fundraising, and designated all fundraising funds to build high-quality psychological counseling function rooms for 20 primary and secondary schools in the county, helping to improve the mental health education system, creating a good social atmosphere for everyone to care for the health of teenagers, and working together to build a strong line of defense for teenagers' mental health.
