She published a poem in "Tianjin**" when she was four years old, and published 5 poetry collections in a row, although it did not attract too much attention, but it seems to be related to poetry, she began to create poetry many times, at the age of 13, Tian Xiaofei just studied in Tianjin 13 Middle School, but in the poetry creation won the award and was admitted to the Department of Western Languages of Peking University to study English and American literature, she went to Peking University to study at a young age. At that time, Haizi was also at Peking University, in her sophomore year, she finally met Haizi, she found Haizi with her poems, and showed him it, Haizi told her that if you can persevere, you will become a great poet, 16 years old, coinciding with the 90th anniversary of the founding of Peking University, Tian Xiaofei wrote "Thirteen-year-old Encounter", at this time she was already a three-year old student in college. 
However, Tian Xiaofei persevered on the road of poetry, and in 1989 Haizi committed suicide, I don't know if Haizi had an influence on her, or if she found another interest, she went to the United States and chose a mainstream major in another direction, and Haizi became the last poet. After receiving her master's degree from the University of Nebraska, she went to Harvard for a Ph.D., where she studied under Stephen Irving, chair of the Department of Language and Civilization.

But Tian Xiaofei invited him out many times, once and again to express his intentions, even if Owen was hard-hearted, they held a wedding in the United States on New Year's Day in 1999, and now both of them are teaching at Harvard, Tian Xiaofei occasionally returns to China to give lectures and impart some ancient knowledge.
