According to the Anshun Intermediate People's Court in Guizhou, on December 22, the case of Tian Yujun, former deputy secretary and deputy director of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, was openly tried in the first instance of the court.
The prosecution alleged that he accepted property from others from 2011 to 2022, equivalent to more than 34.07 million yuan. Tian Yujun pleaded guilty and accepted punishment in court.
He has worked in Shandong Province, Guizhou Province and Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. When he fell at the beginning of this year, he was designated by the ** Commission for Discipline Inspection and the State Supervision Commission and investigated and dealt with by Guizhou.

Tian Yujun was born in Zhucheng, Shandong Province in February 1975, worked in Weifang, Shandong Province in his early years, and served as a member of the Standing Committee of the Kuiwen District Party Committee and executive deputy mayor.
In December 2014, Tian Yujun was introduced to Guizhou to serve as the secretary of the Wanshan District Party Committee of Tongren City, and was promoted to deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress in January 2019. At that time, it was reported that this was the most successful and "cost-effective" talent introduction in Wanshan.
In February 2021, Tian Yujun once again took up his new post across provinces, serving as a member of the Standing Committee of the Changji Prefecture Party Committee of Xinjiang, and in November of the same year, he was appointed deputy secretary and deputy director of the party group of the autonomous region.
In January this year, Tian Yujun was investigated. The circular specifically noted that it was designated by the ** Commission for Discipline Inspection and the State Supervision Commission to accept the review and investigation of the Guizhou Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision.
At the trial on December 22, the Anshun Municipal People's Procuratorate alleged: From 2011 to 2022, Tian Yujun took advantage of his position as a member of the Standing Committee and executive deputy head of the Kuiwen District Party Committee of Weifang City, Shandong Province, secretary of the Wanshan District Party Committee of Tongren City, Guizhou Province, and deputy secretary and deputy director of the Party Group of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Development and Reform Commission, as well as the facilitation of the formation of his authority and status, to provide others with advantages in business operations, project contracting, provided assistance in matters such as fund allocation, and illegally accepted property from others equivalent to more than 34.07 million yuan.
On January 22, 2017, at the Second Plenary Session of the Second Tongren Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection, Tian Yujun, then secretary of the Wanshan District Party Committee, showed his family background to the members of the Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection: "I did not interfere with and meddle in market economic activities such as construction project contracting, land use right transfer, procurement, real estate development and operation. ”
