The new studio bar has an original scenic atmosphere and a versatile space suitable for small cultural events.
The designers decided to approach the façade of the building in a minimalist modern style.
The designers replaced the front door with new glass with an entrance door and the old three-section windows with frameless glass, emphasizing a closer connection with the street.
The interior space is divided into three main sections.
The entrance area has a small stage and café seating, which is connected to the ** area by a long bar.
At the heart of the layout, there is an open space with screens, bars, toilets, and facilities.
The rear area will serve as a separate private gathering space.
The aim of the proposal is to create a sufficiently multifunctional space for small cultural events, equipped with high-quality technical facilities (author readings, ** sessions, exhibitions, etc.).
Therefore, the most important element of the design is the new acoustic structure of the suspended ceiling made of foam pyramids, which unifies the complex space with the basic modules.
This ceiling forms the platform for technology (outlets, audio, projection, lighting) and other ancillary structures such as dividing curtains.
Structurally feasible, the designers made the old masonry of the house stand out from the bricks and unified the other areas with neutral cement plaster.
Dark cement plaster on the floors and walls, sound-absorbing ceilings and black curtains complement the original furniture made of raw steel. The materials and surfaces used to create a specific landscape atmosphere match the cultural focus of the new bar – the studio.
