So as a TCM clinician, how should you learn to learn easily? How do you develop your own easy-to-learn mind?Start by learning the three core parts of being easy to learn:Image, Mathematics, Physics。How do we understand images, numbers, and reason? Why put the elephant in the first place? The ancients "looked up at the sky, looked down at the law on the ground, watched the birds and beasts and the land appropriately, took all the bodies closely, and took all things from afar." Then he began to gossip, with the virtue of the gods, and the affection of all things", so he was like. In traditional Chinese medicine, there is an analogy method, and there is also an image method in the Book of Changes, which is called "observing the image to form a device" and "using the image to make a device". They all have a striking similarity, that is, what is seen is generalized from it, and then applied to guide events or things, and then generalized into logic, reason, or applied theoretical systems. Some are sublimated into philosophies, some are applied to human resources, and so on. Numbers and science are more complicated, so I'll talk to you again when I have time, and I'll talk about elephants tonight. There are many images of gossip, such as elephants, the image of direction, the image of time, the image of human parts, the image of human meridians and viscera, the image of color, the image of time and seasons, which is also the combination of medicine and Chinese medicine, and some images that can guide the clinical practice of Chinese medicine.
So why study it?Why have I been researching the relationship between Yixue and TCM clinics?I will tell you an episode, an incident that I once experienced, and it was also a turning point that changed my path to medicine. In 2002, I copied prescriptions with my uncle, and an old man came, but my uncle happened to go back for lunch, and I was on duty for him at the outpatient clinic. The old man asked when he entered the door, is Dr. Chen there?I said no. So who are you?I'm his nephew. What are you studying?I said I studied Chinese medicine. At that time, the old man said that he had not heard of it, and he looked a little angry. The old man then asked a question that has affected me to this day. I'm bringing this question to you as well. The old man said, "Excuse me, young man, I ask you a question, which only needs you to think about, and you don't need to answer." In the later period of his academics, all of whom have been proficient in or very proficient in the Book of Changes, do you offer the course of "I Ching" in your school? At that time, I had a concept in my head, feudal superstition. The old man saw that my expression was not right, and then he took out eight cards from his body, and drew eight hexagrams on them, and asked me to draw three cards from them. I pulled out three of them one by one, and then he pulled out a notebook that he had written by hand. What is written in this book?I copied down the three hundred and ninety-four articles. Later, I found that it was similar to the article of "Treatise on Typhoid Fever". But the old man said that the article is not "Treatise on Typhoid Fever", but a big ** and summary of life. I didn't take it seriously after copying it down, but after more than ten years, I found that there were four sentences at that time, three of which were fulfilled accurately, and one sentence I didn't know, because I didn't reach the age, so I couldn't call it all fulfillment. But what this old man told me made me start to think about whether everyone who has achieved success in Chinese medicine over the past generations has been involved in the Book of Changes.
From Zhang Zhongjing, Hua Tuo, Bian Que to the later Jin Yuansi, including our current everyone, almost no one does not understand the Book of Changes, right? At least eighty to ninety percent are very proficient, there is no doubt about it. You can take a look in the future, what kind of theories are reflected in the theoretical system of some famous old Chinese medicine practitioners that you are looking at now?**There is an abdominal consultation, and the pediatric has a face-to-face consultation with Qian B. For example, Xia Gui became Xia Lao, and his Yin and Yang Tai Chi explained the law of menstrual cycle changes and medication. There are many other experiences that use the I Ching to explain its theoretical system. You will find that many doctors are studying Yi Xue, including Huang Yuanyu, who is more likely to read, Huang Yuanyu has a book of "Zhou Yi Suspension", Peng Ziyi is also using "I Ching" and so on. Let's reflect on the question, why are so many people studying it?There is an inevitable relationship between them. In fact, there is no need to wonder whether it has anything to do with Chinese medicine, but how it guides Chinese medicine and how far it can guide your clinical practice
After that very interesting adventure, I embarked on the road of exploring the combination of I Ching and Chinese medicine. Each hexagram in the Book of Changes has a corresponding congenital number, and each hexagram has a representative color, viscera, five elements and partsThese are all things we need to master. So how can the Book of Changes and Yi Li guide clinical practice?First of allThe Yili and Yixue in the Book of Changes plays an important role in the diagnosis and prevention of traditional Chinese medicine, almost interspersed with traditional Chinese medicine from diagnosis, prognosis and preventionAnd it's very useful.
