Millions of people are ready to change almost every aspect of their lives – from their homes to their social lives, fitness levels, and even their partners!A study of 2,000 adults in the UK found that 59% felt they needed to change their lives, and 61% even said they felt stuck.

The common aspect that people are keen to change or improve their lives in the near future is their hairstyles, cell phones, and cars. At the same time, 12% admit that they want to find a different partner, and 30% are looking for a new job.

The study was commissioned by Virgin Media O2 in support of its "Switch Up" product, which allows customers to change their phones when they like.

It's really easy to move on with life without seizing the opportunity to actively seek change and confusion," a spokesperson for Virgin Media O2 said in a statement.

While staying in your comfort zone isn't always a bad thing, sticking to what you've always known and you could be missing out on a range of benefits. This applies to both the big things in life and the small things, such as sticking to the same phone. No matter how big or small the changes are, switching to something new can help keep things fresh.

When asked about their previous experiences of making changes in their lives, respondents said that changing things made them feel refreshed, motivated, and confident. Other areas of life that adults want to adjust in 2023 include how they dress (19%), friends (15%), and who they work with (11%).

Although adults may want to change their lifestyle, 36% consider themselves somewhat indecisive. More than half of the polls (52%) believe it would cost too much to make a major change in their lives, and 40% live in fear.

Brits in the survey claimed to generally get bored when dieting (27%), looking at ageing home décor (22%), and looking at a house or apartment (20%). Another 12% of respondents think about changing the big things in their lives multiple times a week.
