Hello everyone, today I would like to share with you my experience in Seoul last winter. Winter in Seoul has a different kind of atmosphere and romance, with beautiful snow scenes, warm cafes and delicious food. 1. Seoul Tower.
Seoul Tower is a beautiful sight to behold in Seoul in winter. Climbing to the top of the tower, you can see the whole city of Seoul. From the tower, you can see the mountains in the distance and the cities nearby, and feel the magnificence of nature and the wisdom of human beings. If you go at night, you can also see the night view of the city illuminated, which is truly beautiful.
2. Bukchon Hanok Village.
Bukchon Hanok Village is one of the representatives of traditional Korean culture. A large number of traditional Korean-style houses and buildings have been preserved here, giving you a sense of the life and culture of ancient Koreans. In winter, the scenery is even more beautiful, as if you are in a fairy tale.
3. Nami Island.
Nami Island is a famous park in Seoul and one of the filming locations for the Korean TV series Descendants of the Sun. The scenery here is very beautiful, with lawns, lakes, small bridges, pavilions, etc., which is very refreshing. In winter, the lake freezes over, so you can walk or skate on the ice for a taste of the winter season.
4. Myeongdong, Seoul.
Myeongdong, Seoul is one of the most famous shopping streets in South Korea and one of the most frequented places by tourists. There are plenty of malls, restaurants, cafes and more to suit your every need. In winter, the streets are beautifully lit with lanterns and illuminations. You can shop, eat and enjoy the night view.
5. COEX Shopping Center.
Coex Mall is one of the largest shopping malls in Seoul and one of the must-see places for tourists. There are plenty of internationally renowned brands, restaurants, cinemas, and much more to suit your every need. In winter, the mall is filled with a variety of Christmas trees and illuminations. You can shop, eat, and watch movies here.
6. Around HongdaeThe streets around Hongdae have a lot of interesting shops and performers. You can see a lot of street performers performing here and various cultural events. There are also many cafes near Hongdae, where you can enjoy a variety of food and drinks. There are also many cute little shops and boutiques in the streets around Hongdae that will keep you wandering for a long time.
7. Itaewon.
Itaewon is an exotic place. There are many European-style buildings and cafes on the streets, making you feel like you are in a small European town. Itaewon also has a famous "Catholic Church" with a beautiful exterior that makes you want to go inside. You can also enjoy a variety of food and drinks in Itaewon, such as the famous "Itaewon Pork Rib Soup".
8. Apgujeong Cave and Cheongdam Cave in Gangnam District.
Gangnam is one of the busiest areas in Seoul, with plenty of fine restaurants, cafes, boutiques, and more. Apgujeong-dong and Cheongdam-dong are two of the most famous shopping districts in Gangnam-gu, home to many internationally renowned brands and designer shops. If you're looking for a high-end shopping experience, then this is a must-see.
