Tianba Expressway is an important part of the "Guangxi Expressway Network Plan (2018-2030)" connecting Guizhou with the interprovincial corridor "Longitudinal 10" Tian'e (Guizhou-Guijie) to Beihai Expressway. The starting point of the project is located near Ganglingpo in Tian'e County, connecting with Pingtang-Tian'e Expressway, passing through Tian'e County, Donglan County, Fengshan County and Bama County, and ending near Latang Village, Bama Town, connecting Du'an-Bama Expressway.
The total length of the main line of the project is 1047 km, the connecting line is 282 kilometers with a total investment of 251900 million yuan. Adopt two-way six-lane highway standard construction, design speed of 100 kilometers per hour. A total of 96 bridges and 55 tunnels are set up on the whole line, and the bridge-tunnel ratio is 654%；A total of 8 interchanges, 3 service areas, 7 toll stations, 1 management sub-center, 7 tunnel management stations, and 2 maintenance areas are set up. The first 11 kilometers of the project were completed and opened to traffic on December 29, 2022.
The completion and opening of Tianba Expressway will further shorten the distance between Tian'e, Donglan, Fengshan and Bama 4 counties, and the driving time from Tian'e County to Bama County will be shortened from the original 3 hours and 30 minutes to 1 hour, further improve the Guangxi Expressway network, and accelerate the construction of the main channel of Guizhou and Guizhou provinces (regions) with high capacity, and drive the interaction of industries along the expressway. It is of great significance to complement each other's economies, help rural revitalization, build a new land-sea corridor in the western region at a high level, and organically connect the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road.

Pingtian Expressway is located in Nandan County, Tian'e County, Hechi City, is an important part of the "longitudinal 10" Tian'e to Beihai Expressway, the project starts from Yunyangguan, Yueli Town, Nandan County, Guizhou Province, and connects Wudang to Guangxi Tian'e Highway through Pingtang in Guizhou, and ends at Tian'e Hub Interchange connecting Nantian Expressway and Tianba Expressway.
The construction of the project is of great significance to improve the national highway network and regional highway network, improve regional traffic conditions, accelerate local economic development and promote international economic cooperation.
