1. Problem description and cause analysis.
1 Problem Description.
1) The fire water intake (well) is not provided with cover plates and signs, and it will be blocked by debris at ordinary times, and it is not easy for firefighters to find the fire water intake (well) when a fire occurs, which will delay the fire extinguishing and rescue time; [Figure 1].
2) The height of the fire water intake (well) is lower than the surrounding ground, and rainwater or sewage can easily flow into the fire water intake (well); [Figure 1].
3) There is no fire lane in the fire pool or the edge of the fire lane is more than 2m away from the water intake point.
Wrong practice.
2 Cause analysis.
Because the landscape design and the main design are not the same unit, the road of the architectural design was modified without authorization, causing the fire water intake to be far away from the road; The construction unit does not set up the cover plate or sign board in accordance with the design drawings or specifications.
2. Normative requirements and correct practices.
1 Specification Requirements.
General Code for Fire Protection Facilities (GB 55036-2022) Article 20.10 articles. [Figure 2].
Technical Specification for Fire Water Supply and Fire Hydrant System (GB 50974-2014) Article 43.Paragraph 7.
Code for Fire Protection Design of Buildings (GB 50016-2014<2018 Edition) 71.7 articles. [Figure 3].
2 Do it right.
3. Countermeasures and prevention and control guidelines.
1. Obvious signs that are different from the environment should be set on or near the fire-fighting facilities, and the explanatory text should be accurate, clear and easy to identify, and the colors, symbols or signs should be standardized;
2. The fire pool should be provided with a water intake (well), and the water suction height should not be greater than 60m;The distance between the water intake (well) and the building (except the pump room) should not be less than 15m; The water intake (well) should be higher than the surrounding ground;
3. Fire lanes should be set up in natural water sources and fire pools for fire trucks to draw water. The edge of the fire lane should not be greater than 2m from the water intake point;
4. The construction unit shall carry out the construction in strict accordance with the requirements of the design drawings and specifications, and when it is found that the on-site construction conditions cannot meet the requirements of the construction drawings, it shall communicate with the design, supervision and construction unit in a timely manner, and the construction can only be carried out after the design unit determines the change plan.
