There is no age limit for graduate exams. Since 2014, the Ministry of Education has abolished the age limit for postgraduate examinations, and anyone who meets the registration requirements can apply for the examination.

The specific requirements are as follows:

Citizens of the People's Republic of China

Support the leadership of the Communist Party of China, have good moral character, and abide by discipline and law

The physical health condition meets the physical examination standards stipulated by the state and the enrollment unit

Those who register for the National Postgraduate Entrance Examination must meet the following conditions:

Fresh undergraduate graduates whose academic qualifications are recognized by the state (including fresh undergraduate graduates from ordinary universities, ** universities, ** higher education held by ordinary universities) and self-study examinations and online education can graduate undergraduate students at that time.

Persons with a bachelor's degree from a nationally recognized university.

Those who have completed 2 years or more (from graduation from higher vocational college to September 1, 2024, the same below) after obtaining a nationally recognized higher vocational college graduation degree, as well as undergraduate graduates, who meet the specific academic requirements of the recruiting unit for candidates according to the discipline major.

Those who have obtained a master's or doctoral degree.

Candidates who meet the above conditions can register online through the examination center of the Ministry of Education** or the provincial and municipal education examination institutes** within the specified time.
