On the morning of November 30, bursts of cheers came from the snow-capped valley of Tonghua, and the Shuangshan Tunnel, a control project of the Jilin section of the Shenbai high-speed railway, was successfully completed, marking the major progress of the construction of the Jilin section of the Shenyang-Baihai high-speed railway.
The Shuangshan Tunnel is located in Tonghua County, with a total length of 547325 meters, a single-hole double-lane tunnel, the maximum buried depth of the main tunnel is about 184 meters, and the minimum buried depth is about 15 meters. The geological conditions of the tunnel area are complex, the mountains are steep, and the gullies are developed. The rock mass through which the cave body passes through is mainly limestone, the joint cracks are developed, the karst fissures and karst caves in the anomaly area are strongly developed, and there is a water-rich phenomenon in some sections, which makes the construction difficult and the safety risk high. Because it is located in a high-latitude cold area, the effective construction period is short, the construction technology is complex, and the processes are numerous, so it is listed as a control project of the whole line.
The breakthrough of the Shuangshan Tunnel has ensured the follow-up ballastless track construction, line laying and equipment installation, and also laid a solid foundation for the early completion and opening of the Shenbai high-speed railway.
It is understood that during the construction process, in order to ensure the quality of the project and speed up the construction progress, the Shenbai high-speed rail project team of China Railway 15th Bureau actively adopted the "four new" technology, continuously optimized the construction plan and construction technology, established and improved various rules and regulations, carried out labor competition in an all-round way, and strived to overcome the undesirable geology such as seasonal frozen soil, freeze-thaw, frost heave, etc., and overcame one difficulty after another in the tunnel excavation process.
To ensure the smooth breakthrough of the Shuangshan Tunnel, we have increased the investment of manpower and material resources, 24 hours a day and night construction. At present, in order to ensure the quality of construction works in winter, the construction of all sites is carried out in fully enclosed workshops, insulation scaffolds or tunnels with heating equipment. At the same time, by 'coating' the tankers, applying insulation doors at the tunnel entrance, heating and insulating the silos and mixing buildings, etc., to ensure that every construction link meets the relevant temperature requirements. The Shenyang-Baihai high-speed railway is the main passenger transport channel in the eastern part of Northeast China and an important part of the national high-speed railway network, running through Shenyang, Fushun, Tonghua, Baishan, Yanbian, Changbaishan and other regions, and is expected to be completed and opened to traffic in 2025. After the completion of the project, it will end the history of Tonghua without high-speed rail, promote the deep integration of the three northeastern provinces and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, improve the inter-regional traffic efficiency, promote the development of tourism resources and green transformation and development in the eastern part of Jilin Province, and inject new momentum into the comprehensive revitalization of Northeast China.
