The 5th Integrative Psychology Forum and the 2023 Academic Symposium of the Integrative Psychology Committee of the Chinese Society of Social Psychology
On December 17, 2023, the "5th Integrative Psychology Forum and the 2023 Academic Symposium of the Integrative Psychology Committee of the Chinese Society of Social Psychology", sponsored by the School of Social Development and Public Policy of Fudan University, the Center for Psychological Research of Fudan University, and the Professional Committee of Integrative Psychology of the Chinese Society of Social Psychology, organized by Flow Meditation, and co-organized by the Center for Mental Health Education of Fudan University, was successfully held in the lecture hall on the first floor of the Shaw Science and Technology Building of Fudan University. With the theme of "Life Education from the Perspective of Integrated Psychology", experts and scholars, experts and scholars in the field of psychology research at home and abroad, as well as industry representatives, gathered on the campus of Fudan University to delve into the current situation of life education and explore the path to promote the construction of a healthy China and social psychological service system. The forum was presided over by Ji Xueping, and Jin Haiyan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Fudan University, Su Yanjie, President of the Chinese Psychological Society, Zhong Nian, Vice President of the Chinese Society of Social Psychology, and Zhao Xudong, Vice President of the Chinese Mental Health Association, delivered opening speeches.
In her speech, Jin Haiyan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Fudan University, emphasized that mental health is crucial to the national strategy, and called for the integration of resources, the construction of a social psychological service system, and the joint promotion of mental health for all.
In his speech, Su Yanjie, President of the Chinese Psychological Society, emphasized that integrative psychology is the direction of development, and it is necessary to understand and accommodate each other to jointly promote the development of psychology.
Zhong Nian, vice president of the Chinese Society of Social Psychology, mentioned in his speech that integration is a challenge of depth, breadth and thickness for each participant, and is a useful attempt to preserve diversity, and wished integrative psychology a bright future.
In his speech, Zhao Xudong, vice chairman of the Chinese Mental Health Association, explained how to expand people's experience, integrate education into life, combine humanistic care with science, and expand the path to success from the perspective of doctors.

In the form of roundtable dialogue, the beginning and end of the topics are completed, and the on-site interaction between experts and the audience is realized.
Exploring the rationale of life education
In the theme of "Exploring the Rational Way of Life Education", Su Yanjie, professor of the School of Psychology and Cognitive Sciences of Peking University and chairman of the Chinese Psychological Society, gave a speech on the theme of "Physiological Development of Adolescence and Psychological Development of Adolescents", advocating that parents and educators enter the most real inner world of adolescents, better understand and pay attention to the psychological needs of adolescents, and manage possible deviations in children's growth.
Professor Li Meijin, vice president of the Legal Psychology Branch of the Chinese Psychological Society and vice president of the China Juvenile Delinquency Prevention Research Association, said in her speech entitled "The Influence of Awe on the View of Life" that life education should pay attention to the emotional experience of the early years of life, and called on parents and educators to help children form a fearful and respectful attitude towards the unknown, nature and life from their early growth.
Professor Zhong Nian, professor and doctoral supervisor of the Department of Psychology of the School of Philosophy of Wuhan University, emphasized in his speech on "Initiation, Definition and Specialization - About Life Education" that in the current society, we should re-examine and shape social values, regain the fate and connection between people, between people and society, and between society and culture, and establish ourselves through professional knowledge and skills, and at the same time integrate culture into the construction of life education.

Achievable life practice
In the theme of "Achievable Life Practice", Zhu Caifang, a professor at Sophia University in the United States, proposed in his speech on "Life Awakening and Spiritual Transcendence" that spiritual awakening is often accompanied by physical and mental pleasure, harmony, and a sense of oneness, and that people should grow themselves along the route of "awakening (transcendence)-transformation-integration".
Professor Glenn Hartelius, Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Integrative and Transpersonal Psychology, gave a keynote speech entitled "Integrative Meditation for Modern Life", introducing his award-winning research project with the Maslow Achievement Award of the American Psychological Association. He pointed out that traditional mindfulness is more attentive and cognitive methods are more focused, and the combination of the two can make people's lives more complete.
Wu Zhan, the founder of flow meditation, shared how he integrated the ancient oriental wisdom of mindfulness meditation into the lives of modern Chinese through innovative business practices, and proposed that flow's vision is to make mindfulness meditation a physical and mental health method for everyone.

In the evening of the same day, the team of Deng Xuyang, the head of the Mental Health Education Center of Southeast University, carried out a life experience heart workshop, from the tea culture experience and diet, the physical and mental coordination mechanism of mental health development, and in the vipassana and psychological drama performances, inspired the participants to integrate and develop their bodies and minds, and promoted the spiritual integration of culture and life.
The conference brought together 12 scholars and practitioners from academia and practice related to life education at home and abroad to give speeches, and nearly 500 practitioners from psychology-related industries participated.
