Today, the 2024 China Steel Market Outlook and "My Steel" Annual Conference was held in Shanghai, which is an annual steel event and a summary meeting that industry colleagues are looking forward to. Here, on behalf of South China Group, I would like to express my heartfelt congratulations on the convening of this conference, express my heartfelt thanks to Chairman Zhu Junhong, and wish the conference a complete success.

In the case of the general downturn in the steel industry this year, South China Group has relied on its strong scale, resources, channels, brands and service advantages to fly in the wind against the trend and still achieve good results.
At present, the overall profits of steel production enterprises are poor, which has a great impact on the steel industry chain. The chairman of China Baowu Group pointed out that the steel industry has entered the sixth round of adjustment period, which is expected to last 7-8 years. Staying alive has once again become a hot topic of concern in the industry. As a member of the steel industry chain, what should I do if I am a steel service provider?Based on the operating experience of South China Group, we suggest that standardized operation and risk control should be carried out from the following six aspects:
First, scientifically formulate strategic goals, pay attention to budget planning, and pay attention to details.
Second, use channels to expand driving resources. In the case of weak overall demand for steel and overcapacity, market competition is extremely fierce, and it is very important to expand channels.
Third, participate in the futures and spot business moderately, but do a good job in risk control.
Fourth, pay close attention to accounts receivable, reduce corporate debt, and improve corporate cash flow.
Fifth, prudent transformation, in the case of human resources and capital and other conditions, appropriate cross-variety operation.
Sixth, continue to improve service awareness and improve the ability to create value for customers.
