On the morning of 13 December, the medical review meeting of the Salesian Co-creation and Medical Assistance Project was held at the UNICEF office. In order to allow the experts to have enough time to consult the information, Chongqing Children's Rescue** will send the relevant medical assistance materials collected and sorted out to the review experts 7 days in advance, so that the review experts can check the relevant information of the medical assistance project in advance.

According to the actual situation of the types of diseases helped, the UNICEF has classified and sorted out the data, which are divided into: the review of the cost of assistance for children with congenital heart disease, the cost review of the assistance project for children with germ cell tumor, the review of the cost of assistance for children with hand and foot disabilities in Qamdo, the cost of eye diseases in the bright future, and the cost review of H28 care for children's tumors.

At the review meeting, the experts gave on-site feedback on the implementation of the project, the cost details, the amount of assistance, the declaration, the diagnosis of the disease, the admission and discharge information, the use of drugs, etc., and pointed out the deficiencies. And put forward suggestions for improvement one by one. The experts at the meeting agreed that the medical project was generally good and there were no mistakes in principle. The subsidized children meet the conditions for assistance, the surgical methods, medical equipment, and the use of drugs meet the medical principles, the charges meet the specified standards, and the postoperative results are good, achieving the expected purpose. In some cases, there are cases where the writing is not standardized, and the diagnosis certificate is omitted to be stamped, and the relevant hospitals need to rectify it in time.

By holding a medical review meeting, we will promote more standardized medical assistance projects and more accurate assistance.
