Amazon loses the item, and the seller can get Amazon FBA compensation, but not every seller is eligible for Amazon FBA compensation. The following are some of the conditions for sellers to receive compensation from Amazon, and sellers can check whether they are within the scope of compensation:
1. When damaged or lost, the seller must use Amazon FBA service to complete the order.
2. Products that meet Amazon's requirements and restrictions are eligible for Amazon reimbursement.
3. The product must meet the storage requirements of FBA.
4. You can't ask Amazon to dispose of your goods and then ask for compensation.
5. If Amazon has the authority to dispose of an item (e.g., it has expired), it will not be eligible for reimbursement for that item.
6. Only non-defective goods can be reimbursed by Amazon.
7. If the customer damages your item and returns it, the item is not eligible for compensation.
8. Your Amazon Seller Central account must be in a healthy state to submit an Amazon reimbursement claim.
The Amazon FBA reimbursement process is as follows:
If the goods are lost, you will generally need to provide the following information and start an investigation: Amazon seller ID, ASIN and quantity of the missing product, and the reason for the loss
If Amazon loses your item due to an accident or the fault of one of its partners, the claim for the loss of the item will be processedHowever, if Amazon denies the claim, it will need to file another appeal with the reasons.
Here's how the claims process works:
It is important to note that an investigation can only be initiated to file a claim after the FBA shipment has been closed (i.e., after Amazon has received all of the inventory).
1. Claim entry: inventory-shipments-statusFilter the shipments that have been closed - find the difference between units expected (number of pieces sent) and units located (actually received) - click to enter the shipment details.
Switch to contents, you will see which SKU is missing how many pieces, there will be action required on the right side of the difference SKU, and select Researching Missing Units in the drop-down menu to start the survey.
2. Upload the claim documents: purchase voucher + screenshot proof of the receipt of the shipment logistics sent to FBA.
It is best if there is an invoice for the purchase voucher, followed by the receipt, and the order details of the purchase. Claim documents support a variety of **, pdf format, but only one file can be uploaded, it is recommended to upload all documents in one pdf.
Try to post the shipment and product information (ASIN, EAN UPC, FNSKU, MSKU) as much as possible to facilitate the customer service to quickly locate the information.
Finally, when dealing with FBA compensation issues, you need to pay attention to applying for compensation in a timely manner, providing evidence, understanding the compensation criteria, and maintaining a good seller rating.
