"Tongmeng Instructions" is an enlightenment book compiled by Zhu Xi, a famous physicist in the Southern Song Dynasty, and is included in the "Fourteen Kinds of Confucian Lectures in the East Listening to Yutang". This book mainly regulates and educates children in terms of life, learning Xi, behavior, etc., and its content is detailed and comprehensive, which is of great educational significance for cultivating children's good life XiXi Xi, learning habits and moral norms. 
The "Instructions for Children" is divided into five parts, namely clothing and shoes, speech and steps, sprinkling and sweeping, reading and writing, and miscellaneous matters. In the crown and shoes part of the clothes, Zhu Xi emphasized the norms of dress that Tong Meng should pay attention to, and told them how to dress appropriately and neatly. The speech step part is to educate children on how to speak appropriately and behave appropriately. The sprinkling and sweeping part is to educate children to maintain environmental hygiene, personal hygiene and public hygiene. The reading and writing part is to educate children to read carefully, write diligently, and cultivate good XiXi learning habits. The miscellaneous matters section covers various details that children need to pay attention to in their daily lives, such as eating and drinking in moderation, acting cautiously, etc. 
Zhu Xi emphasized the learning method of "heart, eye, and mouth" in "Tongmeng Instructions", believing that only by adjusting the mentality can we focus on learning Xi Xi and truly remember what we have learned. He also reminded Tong Meng to focus on reading and writing, and not to be absent-minded, otherwise even if he reads a lot of books, he will not be able to remember, let alone persist for a long time. In "Tong Meng's Instructions", Zhu Xi also taught Tong Meng to get up early and go to bed late and maintain good work and rest Xi;Stay away from noisy and strife places and avoid engaging in unproductive activitiesEat in moderation and don't be too concerned about the amount and quality of foodBe polite and respectful in front of the elders;Be mindful of your behavior in public, don't make loud noises, don't occupy seats at will, etc.
