This is the first time that Guizhou's local goods have been exported on a large scale through the China-Laos Railway, further broadening the open channel and smoothing the exchanges.

The Yunnan-Guizhou-Lancang-Mekong Line International Freight Train is the first international freight train jointly operated by Yunnan and Guizhou Provinces, which can be connected through Guiyang International Dry Port and China-Europe Express to further expand the influence of the China-Laos Railway "Lancang-Mekong Express" international freight brand, and jointly build an important international logistics hub in southwest China and an international first-class transit station for ASEAN.

It is reported that in 2022, Southeast Asian goods have arrived in Budapest, Hungary after the China-Laos train has been connected with the China-Europe train at Guiyang International Dry Port, and a small number of Guizhou products have arrived in Vientiane, Laos through the China-Laos train, successfully realizing two-way operation.
