The legend of the French heroine Joan of Arc.

There have been many heroic women throughout history, and Joan of Arc is one of the most remarkable legends. Born in 1412 in the village of Dedon Rémy in Lorraine, France, she claimed to be able to hear angels at the age of 13 and became a girl known as Joan of Arc.

The young girl claimed that she had received a revelation from the Celestial Gods Mireel, St. Marguerite, and St. Catherine, who had tasked her with liberating the Kingdom of France and leading the crown prince to the throne. Despite all the difficulties, in February 1429 Joan of Arc crossed Burgundy in the guise of a man and met Charles the Dauphin at Chinon. She prophesied that Orleans would be liberated, and indeed succeeded in achieving it through great military prowess, making her a heroine of her time.

Joan of Arc's second mission was to convince Charles to be crowned king in Reims. After his victory, Charles VII was crowned on 17 July 1429. However, the war against Britain was bogged down by political intrigues, and France still failed to recover Paris.

During the difficult years of Joan of Arc's fight for her country, she was captured by the Burgundians in May 1430. Charles VII did not take steps to rescue her, possibly under the influence of Ratre Muwaye. Accused of heresy by the British, she was put on trial in Rouen. The trial was chaotic, but in the end she was convicted. On May 30, 1431, on the Place de la Ville de la Rouen, the "Maiden of Orleans" was burned alive.

However, Joan of Arc is not forgotten. In 1455, Pope Garrido III authorized a retrial, casting doubt on her innocence. The legend of Joan of Arc has also been passed down in literature, becoming one of the representatives of female heroes.

Joan of Arc's story has experienced light and shadow, sometimes revered, sometimes challenged. Her legend has been repeated in literature, drama and opera, leaving a lasting impact. Today, we still see the bravery and legend of this French heroine in the scrolls of history.
