Beijing's Xierqi is home to many major Internet companies and is known as the "center of the universe of China's Internet". On the evening of December 14, heavy snow fell, and the outdoor temperature in Beijing was as low as -7. After a busy day, Mr. Wang walked out of the "Center of the Universe" and took the subway home from Xierqi Subway Station. It was rush hour, and the subway was crowded with passengers rushing home.
I had only been driving for a few minutes when I suddenly stopped, and the radio sounded to say that I was going to stop temporarily. At about 18 o'clock, Mr. Wang, who was playing with his mobile phone, suddenly felt a strong sense of impact, and many people's mobile phones flew out. Immediately, the news of the accident on the Changping Line of the Beijing Metro spread on the Internet, and countless people were paying attention to this "night of horror".
After the accident, the injured passengers were rushed to the hospital for treatment, while the other passengers continued their long journey home. Some people choose to walk home along the railroad tracks, which can take several hours; Some were evacuated to nearby bus stops, or changed buses, or waited in line for ...... taxisMany witnesses took out their mobile phones to record what they saw and felt.
The snowflakes didn't realize anything, and they were still fluttering. On the snowy road, it is chaotic but orderly, and the cold is also warm.
Thrilling moment: A lot of people's phones flew out.
Mr. Wang was a witness to the accident, and his daily commuting from Xierqi Station on the Changping Line to Shahe Higher Education Park Station was a fixed line for his daily commuting, and he had just gotten on the train from Xierqi Station when the accident occurred on the evening of the 14th.
Mr. Wang told the Yangcheng Evening News reporter that before the temporary parking, the carriage was very quiet, and there were many people on the bus at Xierqi Station, and almost everyone was playing with their mobile phones. "Suddenly, I felt a strong sense of impact, many people's mobile phones flew out, and the lighting in the carriage disappeared all of a sudden. He mentioned that many seated passengers began to give way to injured, uncomfortable passengers, and he also dialed 119 as soon as possible.
According to the call records, the reporter saw that it was 18:52.
Mr. Wang recalled: "At first, some people were crying, some people were crying pain, some people were pressed, and after the police were called, everyone slowly calmed down, and began to shoot **, guessing what happened, and thinking about whether they were hit by a rear-end collision." ”
From 19:12, Beijing Metro continuously released news through its official Weibo account: there is no electricity on the upward contact rail from Xierqi to Life Science Park section of the Changping Metro Line, and some trains are temporarily stopped and some trains are delayedAfter preliminary understanding, the last two trains of the Changping Line were separated from the previous train in the section from Xierqi to the Life Science Park, and some passengers were injuredThe rescuers of the metro company arrived at the scene as soon as possible, and at the same time contacted the 119 fire department and the 120 emergency center to participate in the rescuePersonnel evacuation is underway, and evacuated passengers are arriving at Xierqi Station one after another, and warm and rescue items have been prepared at the scene.
At 20:02, rescuers rushed to the carriage where Mr. Wang was, first put the seriously injured people in the ambulance, and then began to guide other passengers to get off the train and evacuate in the direction of Xierqi subway station. After getting off the train, Mr. Wang learned that the train had broken from the connection of the penultimate car, and he was in the car behind the break.
Talking about the state of the carriage when it vibrates, Mr. Wang, who calmed down, recalled that at first he thought that he was rear-ended by the rear car, but the passengers in the carriage he was in fell in the direction of the train, and the person who was rear-ended by the rear car should have fallen backwards, "At that time, it was more like a rubber band was torn off, and we were in the second half of the rebound."
Another witness told reporters that a few minutes after the temporary stop was announced, an announcement was made that the train was ready to move. But as soon as the train started, a loud noise was heard, followed by violent shaking, lights went out, the train disconnected, and someone fell to the ground from the breaking point at the junction of the carriages.
It was very cold and dark, so I had to keep my head down the railroad tracks. Braving the snow from the accident site to Xierqi Station, Mr. Wang glanced at his mobile phone again, and at 21:02, exactly one hour after the rescuers began to evacuate. After taking the shuttle bus arranged by the traffic police, Mr. Wang got off the bus due to traffic jam on the way, walked 5 kilometers out of the national highway in the snow again, and only got a taxi near Laoniuwan Village.
The buses on the road were so crowded that they couldn't get on at all. Mr. Qi works in the Zhongguancun Software Park, which arranges a shuttle bus to send employees to the Xierqi subway station every day after work. In the past, he only needed to commute for one hour to return to the rental house in Tiantongyuan from Zhongguancun Software Park, and it took him a total of four hours to get home that night after being transferred by bus and subway.
On previous weekdays, Mr. Wang would get home from work at about 19:30. That night, when he opened the door, it was 0:05 the next day.
It's good to get home safely. Mr. Wang said.
Heartwarming scene: The little brother in white guards the injured pregnant woman.
Mr. Li, who had just gotten off work, also took the subway home, and finally arrived home at about 23 o'clock after experiencing an accident, waiting, evacuation, and changing buses. The day's journey home seemed to be extremely cold and long, but he was deeply moved by a scene on the subway, and he still felt warm when he recalled the next day.
Mr. Li recalled that the sudden stop of the subway caused many people to fall backwards, the power to the carriage was cut off, the heating was also stopped, and only the emergency lights were still on. After a brief moment of confusion, everyone quickly stood up, when a girl's cry could be heard from the crowd, "It's a pregnant woman who has fallen." With a lot of clothes to wear in winter, and a lot of people during rush hour, no one noticed that the girl was pregnant. She kept crying, shouting that her leg hurt, and she couldn't speak clearly, probably because she had broken her leg. ”
No one dared to move her, because it would be best to keep the status quo (if) it was broken. At that time, the subway was very crowded, and everyone could hardly move, and a little brother in white was very close to her, so he kept in front of her, helped her communicate with her family, and calmed her emotions. Mr. Li told reporters that the car he was in was located near the front of the train, and the evacuation work was carried out from the back to the front that night, and it took about an hour and a half to evacuate to the car where he was. During this period, the little brother in white accompanied the injured pregnant woman, helping to contact the ambulance to communicate the location information, until finally waiting for the ambulance personnel.
At around 21:30, Mr. Li and most of the passengers were evacuated to the Xierqi bus station, because there were too many people and the number of buses was limited, Mr. Li decided to take a section of the road and stagger **. I walked to the next stop, the bus arrived but it was still full and I couldn't get up. Just when Mr. Li was confused and helpless, a takeaway boy "saved" him, "He was changing the battery at the charging station, and I asked him for help." He rode an electric car to send me to Xisanqi bus station, the whole journey is about 2 kilometers, the road is very slippery, special thanks to him. ”
At about 22 o'clock, the reporter contacted the passengers who were still waiting for a taxi near the Xierqi subway station, and he said that the taxi platform showed that there were more than 200 people queuing up at that time. Some passengers said that the number of people queuing on the platform an hour ago exceeded 1,000, and some people chose to walk a few kilometers to Beiqing Road and then take a taxi.
Early in the morning of December 15, Beijing Metro issued a travel reminder through Weibo: The Changping Metro Line maintains the normal operation of the up and down sections from Zhuxinzhuang Station to Changping Xishankou Station and from Xierqi Station to Xitucheng Station. Citizens can enter the city by transferring to Line 8 and Line 13. The bus connects between Xierqi and Zhu Xinzhuang.
In addition, in order to ensure the safety of the operation of ground lines and elevated lines under extreme weather, all ground lines and elevated lines adopt manual driving mode, take measures to reduce speed operation, and the departure interval will be appropriately expanded.
It is not easy to travel in snowy days, and the subway that operates in sections, runs at reduced speeds, and widens the interval undoubtedly makes the "center of the universe" even worse. As a result, many companies have switched to working from home.
Although Mr. Li does not have to go to the company, he still has to go out because of work needs. The lack of transportation caused him a lot of difficulties in getting around, but the experience of the previous night still haunts him to this day. Witnessing and feeling the warmth and help from strangers is the most unforgettable memory of this night.
I hope that the little brother's heart-warming gesture can be seen by more people. Mr. Li said.
Official release. At 12:21 on the 15th, Beijing Traffic released the results of the rescue and emergency response at the scene of the accident: at about 23 o'clock on the 14th, the personnel transfer was completed, the on-site disposal work was basically over, and a total of 515 people were sent to the hospital for examination, including 102 fractures and no deaths. As of 6 o'clock on the 15th, 423 people have been discharged, 25 people have been placed under observation, and 67 people have been hospitalized**.
According to the preliminary investigation, the cause of the accident was the degrading of the signal of the front car caused by the slippery track in the snow, and the emergency braking and stopping, and the rear car was located in the downhill section, and the snow caused the train to slide and failed to brake effectively, resulting in a rear-end collision with the front car.
At present, the city has set up a subway Changping line accident investigation team, which will further investigate the cause of the accident.
