After sandstone is mined, it needs to go through a variety of processing techniques to meet the needs of different consumers. There are nine common sandstone processing processes for HSBC sandstone.

1. Machine cutting surface: use disc saw, sand saw or bridge cutting machine and other equipment to directly cut and form, the surface is rough, with obvious machine cutting lines.

2. Pickling surface: use strong acid to corrode the surface of the stone, so that it has slight traces of corrosion, and the appearance is more simple than that of the polished surface. Most stones can be pickled, but the most common are marble and limestone. Pickling is also a method of softening the shine of fossil materials.

3. Coarse grinding surface: simply polish the surface, smooth the machine cutting grain, and present a rough matte processing effect.

4. Matte surface: Matte surface processing is a common stone surface treatment method, which makes the sandstone surface present a semi-glossy effect through manual or mechanical grinding. Compared with high-gloss processing, matte finishing is more natural and low-key, giving people a warm and elegant feeling.

5. Burning surface: Calcining the surface of the stone by using a high-temperature flame to make it experience the action of high temperature, thereby changing its structure and appearance.

6. Natural surface: A piece of cut sandstone is cut in half by artificial or mechanical use, and the profile naturally forms an uneven surface.

7. Lychee surface: Use special lychee surface carving tools to carve a texture similar to lychee skin on the surface of the stone. Engraving requires attention and angle to ensure that the carved texture is natural and clear.

8. Chopping axe: also known as longan surface, the axe is struck on the surface of the stone to form a dense strip-like texture, a bit like the effect of the longan epidermis.

9. Sandblasting surface: sandstone sandblasting surface processing is a processing method that sprays abrasives onto the surface of the stone through a high-pressure sandblasting machine to remove stains, frost sanding, and increase the surface roughness of the stone.
