In the past few days, the Gaoliying Market Supervision and Management Institute has continued to carry out inspections on the use of "fresh lamps" in its jurisdiction, comprehensively investigated the use of "fresh lamps" in the sales of edible agricultural products, and urged market operators and sellers to conduct self-inspection and rectification, and promote the implementation of relevant policies.
During the inspection, law enforcement officers focused on the sales of fresh edible agricultural products such as edible agricultural product wholesale markets, farmers' markets, shopping malls and supermarkets, and fresh meat and vegetable shops, and carried out inspections on all kinds of business entities, requiring that the use of "fresh lights" and other lighting facilities that may affect consumers' judgment of the sensory characteristics of edible agricultural products such as meat, fruits and vegetables, and seafood be required to be stopped and to guide operators to choose the color rendering index. Lamps with a color temperature closer to natural light avoid misleading consumers' sensory perception of goods, and at the same time supervise some merchants who have not yet made rectifications or are not in place to ensure the effective implementation of the new regulations.
In the next step, Gaoliying will incorporate the rectification of "fresh lights" in the market into the focus of daily supervision, continue to carry out inspections, urge operators to strictly implement the requirements of laws and regulations, effectively safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of consumers, and create a fair and just market consumption environment for the people in the jurisdiction.
