Learn to Fly Do you know the flight instruments in the cockpit?

If you want to learn a pilot's license, you will be confused and say that there are so many instruments in the cockpit, how can we tell the difference?

The so-called instrument is a device that provides flight personnel with information about the aircraft and its subsystems. The aircraft instrument and various controllers form a **-machine interface, so that the flight personnel can operate the aircraft according to the flight plan. The information provided by the instrument is not only the basis for the flight personnel to control the aircraft, but also reflects the results of the aircraft being manipulated.

This year, let's get to know the flight instruments that are commonly used in aircraft cockpits.

The instrument consists of three parts, the first part is the flight instrument, the second part is the engine instrument, and the third part is the auxiliary instrument. The following describes the components of the instruments in the dashboard and the functions of each instrument.

Altimeter. An altimeter is connected to an aircraft's hydrostatic tube to measure atmospheric pressure and provide information (measured in meters and feet) about the aircraft's altitude. The altitude is usually shown at sea level. When flying, the pilot has to adjust the altimeter setting and set the value for the local barometer so that the altimeter can display the correct altitude.

Airspeed gauge. The airspeed indicator refers to the speed of the aircraft in the air, which is connected to the dynamic and static pressure tubes of the aircraft, measures the pressure of the ramjet air, and converts it into the indicated airspeed of the aircraft, usually in knots.

Vertical rate table.

The verticalspeed indicator is connected to a hydrostatic tube that measures the rate at which the atmospheric pressure changes outside the aircraft, and on the vertical velocity meter, the rate at which the aircraft climbs and descends, usually in "feet per minute" (fts min).
