On December 2, the annual output of 30GWh new energy battery project of Funeng Technology held a delivery ceremony for the first phase of the plant in the Chengxi Industrial Park of Ganzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone, and Chen Shuilian, member of the Standing Committee of the Ganzhou Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Ganzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone, handed over the "key" symbolizing the delivery of the plant to Wang Yu, chairman of Funeng Technology. Chen Binbo, general manager of Funeng Technology, said in his speech that the Ganzhou 30GWh new energy battery project is the future-oriented strategic fulcrum of Funeng Technology, which reflects the determination of Funeng Technology to deeply cultivate Ganzhou and build the core competitive advantage of SPS products.

It is reported that the main construction content of the project is electrode assembly workshop, formation workshop, pack workshop, pilot line, R&D building, office building and other supporting facilities, of which the first phase of the project 15GWh manufacturing unit has completed the construction of about 180,000 square meters of plant and production ancillary buildings with high standards in less than a year since the start of construction in January 2023.

At the same time as the production capacity construction is "accelerating", the trial production verification of Funeng Technology's SPS has also made progress, and the countdown to mass production and loading has begun.

According to the company's recently disclosed investor relations activity record form, the company's SPS products have passed the pilot line, and will be put into operation and debugged at the new base of 30GWh in Ganzhou at the earliest, and will be mass-produced and loaded at the new base in Ganzhou and Guangzhou next year.

The ternary material system SPS can easily achieve a range of 1000 kilometers and a charging efficiency of 400 kilometers in 10 minutes, the overall performance of lithium iron phosphate SPS is comparable to that of ternary power batteries of conventional design, and sodium-ion SPS products meet the needs of A0 to A-class pure electric vehicles.
