5. In 1945, the French ** official was in the "Eagle's Nest" of the XTL, and the flag on the right was the French flag.
It is difficult to say who was the first to occupy here, in fact there are 3 units that claim that they are the first, and they are: the French 501st Tank Regiment, the American 7th Regiment and the 506th Airborne Regiment famously'Easy to connect'(e-company).
Berchtesgaden Nice view.
It was the American 3rd Infantry Division that liberated Berchtesgaden (village) on 4 May, the French arrived on the 5th, and captured Berghof on the night of 5 May. Some French blocked the road to the "Eagle's Nest", and there was a heated argument between the Americans of the 7th Regiment and the French of the 501st Tank Regiment.
An American officer, while trying to cross the French blocking the road, grabbed a Frenchman by the collar and said that his **was American** (they provided) and therefore the "trophy" (referring to the first to arrive at the Eagle's Nest) should belong to the "real victor", another Frenchman separated the two, and the French officer showed the medal he had received in 1942 at El-Alamein and claimed that they should have "ascended first".
After some arguments, the French captured Berghof and then "returned" it to the American 7th regiment.
All three units claim to have been installed on top of a hill to settle in the villa, although the French may have been the first, as there were more records (and **) about the Americans at the time. It's Phuket.

The Maquis were a village guerrilla group formed by the French and Belgian resistance groups.
7, November 21, 1944, in the northeastern French city of Mulhouse, members of the French 1st Army decorated the jeep with a ** of an XTL. To further "express their affection for Adolf", they hung a chain around his neck (fine pin).
It reads: Long live France, it belongs to us!, do you see this idiot?(refers to XTL).

9, In 1944, in the town of Dompaire, Lorraine, France, several French soldiers on a Leopard tank that had been destroyed not long ago.
10, December 1944, somewhere in the Vosges Mountains in France. Soldiers of the First French Army, commanded by General Jean de Lattel de Tacini, receive hot food.
Jean-Joseph Marie Gabriel de Lattelle de Tasini, GCB, MC, was a famous French general who commanded Vichy France and Free France during World War II, and then was the commander of the First Indochina War, and defeated Wu Yuanjia many times.
