The access control card reader is an identification medium device in the access control system, which can read the information in the access control card and transmit the information to the access control controller to control the opening and closing of the door. Let's take a look at what are the functions of the access control card reader and how to operate it
What are the functions of the access control card reader?
The frequency of the RFID access control read head is generally 1356MHz, usually including induction coil, induction chip, antenna, LED indicator and other components. When the proximity card enters the electromagnetic wave radiation range of the card reader, it will trigger the coil on the proximity card, generate current and trigger the antenna on the proximity card to transmit a signal to the card reader, the signal carries the card information, and the card reader converts the level signal into a digital serial number and transmits it to the local controller, and the local controller uploads the information to the upper controller. Finally upload to the access control server, and the access control server compares the label data with the information in the database, and controls the opening and closing of the access control.
In addition to this, the access control card reader can also achieve the following functions:
Authorization management: Authorization management is carried out for cardholders by setting user card swiping permissions, expiration dates, or number of uses.
Alarm function: If the cardholder is not authorized or the cardholder has exceeded the validity period, the access control system will send an alarm prompt.
Recording function: The access control system can record information such as the time and number of times the cardholder enters and exits for management and inquiry.
What are the classifications of access control card readers?
1. The controller is divided into one-way controller and two-way controller according to the number of card readers that can be connected to each door.
Note: If a door, swipe the card when entering the door, and press the button when you go out, the controller can only connect one card reader for each door, which is called a one-way controller.
If a door, swipe the card when you enter the door, and swipe the card when you go out (you can also connect the door button), each controller can connect two card readers for each door, one is the door reader, and the other is the card reader when you go out, which is called a two-way controller.
2. According to the security level of the card reader, it is divided into: ID number card reader (read-only), IC card encryption reader, CPU card reader, and national secret CPU card reader.
Note: Due to the low security level of the read-only card reader, the card is easy to be copied, and the current domestic card reader with high security level belongs to the SM1 algorithm of the national secret CPU card reader issued by the Cryptography Administration.
Ann's electronic micro-power reader all-in-one computer supports ISO15693, ISO18000-3M3 and ISO14443A B protocol standards, that is, it can read multiple electronic tags of each protocol at the same time. With high sensitivity read and write performance and fast anti-collision processing algorithm, it can be widely used in desktop card issuance, access control, electronic bills, libraries, finance and other fields, looking forward to cooperating with you!
