The first time I took the subway in Canada, I found that it was really old, but it was not backward

Today I took the subway from Oakville, Canada, to Toronto with my family to visit the Ancient Distillery District and the Museum of Contemporary Art. Arrive at the Gotrain's Oakville station at 11:30 a.m., but don't just leave with you, the earliest one is at 12:01. We had to sit in our chairs and wait patiently.

We arrived at platform 3 minutes early, the ground was still terrazzo and damaged, and the yellow line was very close to the tracks.

This kind of platform is really a bit old, but it really doesn't affect the use, and I don't know how many years this subway has been open.

The platform didn't look new, and the ash on the vault across from it had fallen. There is no worker uncle to repair it, I don't know if it is a lack of money, or I think it can be used.

It's also a train station, which is Canada's green train, and it's been a bit old slowly.

How can the edge of this platform building be like this?Shouldn't it be repaired?I guess I don't want to move, and there are no safety hazards, so just keep it like that.

After about 45 minutes we arrived at the Union subway station, and after coming out, we walked to the ancient wine area. As soon as I came out of the subway, the streets suddenly lit up, and there were many high-rise buildings, and I couldn't help but say: I found the feeling of being in China, which is really familiar and modern, giving people a sense of home security.

You can also see the tower, it is still raining lightly, and the air is quite fresh, even if this is the most prosperous urban center.

The tram is still very popular in the city of Toronto, remembering that when I took the tram from Xisi to Xidan, the iron rod on the car would make a clanging sound, and it was indeed relatively environmentally friendly, but the country has now been upgraded to an electric car.

Modern high-rise buildings are also mixed with some old red brick houses, but they are not old, 100 years or so, after all, Toronto has only been established for a few hundred years, which is not comparable to our long history.

We accidentally entered a farmer's market on the side of the street, which was really a bit of a sight, whether it was the appearance of the building or the removal of the goods, and the bustling ** was different from other places.

It is very lively, selling all kinds of snacks, fruits, vegetables, cheese, seafood, etc., and some shops have Chinese character slogans.

Look at this big cheese pie. We are not used to eating, and even think that this is unhealthy food, the fat is too high, and there are a lot of fat people here, is it related to eating these? But in any case, this is what they love to eat.

It is divided into two floors, and many people sit in it to eat snacks, and there is a long queue at the entrance of the department's store. It's very pyrotechnic, it's really an old market.

Look at these sandwiches are so big that I usually can't finish one.

Seafood can be cut and eaten freshly, and the oyster shop is still marked with the Chinese word "freshly opened and eaten", knowing that our Chinese people love angry oysters, but the clerk seems to be a foreigner.

When I came out, I saw the name of this market hanging on the wall, and I didn't know what the name was in Chinese. I was thinking, if you bring a group, you should visit here, but parking here may not be very convenient, then you have to take the subway, after coming out of the subway, you should walk here, but it will take 15 minutes, and the average person may not be able to bear it. If it is a small group, you can't call two taxis, so it's comfortable to join a small group.

We continue to walk towards the old wine area, which is still lined with modern high-rise buildings and some old red brick houses.

Finally arrived at the ancient liquor area, and now it is no longer brewing, but has been changed to an art district, a bit like 798 in Beijing.

This ground has also been around for some years and has not been replaced. It's okay, a little less tossing, so that you can keep the air a little clean? After all, the air is inseparable all the time.

After seeing this art district, I hailed a taxi and came to the Museum of Contemporary Art, who said that you don't need tickets anywhere in Canada?

Most museums in the country really don't have money, and many of the provincial museums are free of chargeIt costs $35 here, but people under the age of 24 don't want it. $35 is a reasonable amount of visits for an unlimited number of visits (within a year).

This is all taken casually inside, and it is quite large, with 5 layers. It takes about 3 hours to complete the tour.

I photographed the street scene from the upper floor of the art museum.

I took a few more pictures of the artwork inside.

Street view of downtown Toronto.

I took a few more photos of the works in the museum:

This is a sculpture outside the art gallery.

Take the subway back to Oakville at 6:00 p.m., this is the Union Station platform, which is also a bit old, but this really can't be said to be backward.

The train cars are also a bit old, but there are not many people, and they are empty, and this is still the peak hour on Friday.

Finally arrived in Oakville and prepared to get out of the station.

This is the first time to travel by subway in Canada, the overall feeling is OK, although the various facilities I see in my eyes are really a little old, but it does not affect the experience, it is these old, not renovated every day, can save some resources, less pollution. Of course, it also costs some less taxpayers' money.

It's not that construction can't be done, what should be done still has to be done, like our current high-speed rail and urban subway, relative to our population density, it really needs to be done;Canada has its peculiarities, but there are still not so many people, and the infrastructure that was made in the past few years is enough, so I don't have to toss.
