The kiln operated at high temperature is made of a variety of refractory bricks, so as to prolong the use of the furnace age, the important wind direction should be to mobilize the manufacturing quality of refractory bricks and the quality of kiln brickwork. The quality of kiln bricklaying is important to determine whether the standard of bricklaying method, precision and brick shape ratio is fair. However, if the brick shape of the kiln refractory bricks is unusually cumbersome and complex, it is not convenient for the manufacturing of the refractory production department, nor is it convenient for the supervision of the use department, so it is a very critical task to fairly adjust and simplify the proportion and shape of the kiln refractory bricks. Over the past few years, Rongsheng Refractory has done a lot of work in simplifying the brick shape, and has made some achievements, but there are many, many mistakes, and even the proportions of various bricks of the common scale shape are not reasonable, so that the knowledge of the design of the shape and proportion of refractory bricks needs to be arranged. The editors will only talk about the suggestions for simplifying the brick shape of the kiln based on practical work experience. There are many, many trade-offs to make when designing the shape and proportions of refractory bricks. First, it is necessary to weigh the manufacturing skill level of the refractory factory. For example, when the proportion of alkaline kiln bottom magnesia bricks increases, the bricks decrease compared with the joints between the bricks, and the durability will increase. However, at the current skill level, it is difficult to manufacture too large magnesia bricks, and even if they are manufactured, the quality is very, very poor.
Second, it is necessary to weigh the convenience of handling and storage. Oversized and particularly complex refractory bricks are prone to breakage during handling and storage. Third, it is necessary to take into account the convenience of bricklaying of refractory bricklaying technicians, and the refractory bricks with large weight consume a lot of labor when laying and stacking, and the quality of bricklaying cannot be guaranteed. Fourth, it is necessary to weigh the scope of use of the designed refractory bricks. Fifth, the proportion should be standardized and easy to measure. Sixth, it is important that the working furnace age of the designed bricks should be long. What are the methods and limitations of refractory brick molding in the manufacturing process of refractory bricks, which refers to the process of processing the blank into a body of specified size and shape with the help of external forces and models. However, the construction of the newly developed artesian castable is basically free of external force. The molding of refractory bricks is first of all to meet the requirements of the use of products, and the refractory bricks are required to have a certain shape, size and sufficient strength when the refractory bricks are built. Secondly, molding is also an effective means to improve the physical and chemical properties of products, and the organizational structure of products can be improved through molding. There are many methods of refractory brick molding, and the traditional molding method is divided into (1) semi-dry method: the moisture of the blank is about 5, which is suitable for the blank with different clinker content (50 - 100);(2) Plastic: the moisture of the blank is about 15, which is suitable for manufacturing large or complex products(3) Grouting method: the moisture of the blank is about 40, which is suitable for the production of various refractories with hollow thin walls. There are many forming methods for refractory bricks, and the commonly used molding methods are organic pressure molding, vibration molding, extrusion molding, ramming molding, isostatic pressure molding, fusion casting molding, grouting molding, etc. The choice of molding method is mainly based on the nature of the mud, the shape and size of the green body and other process requirements. In addition to the vast majority of refractory bricks are machine-pressed molding, vibration molding is generally used to form large special-shaped bodies, extrusion molding is generally used for the forming of tubular bodies, and grouting molding is generally used for hollow-walled thin body molding. Isostatic compression molding is currently mainly used in the production of high-performance refractory materials. Of course, the choice of molding method is also limited by the equipment conditions of the production plant, so some refractory bricks can not use the best molding method. In this case, enterprises should choose other more suitable molding methods under the premise of meeting the technical requirements of refractory bricks. Regardless of the method, the formed body should meet the following requirements: (1) the shape, size and accuracy meet the design requirements;(2) The structure is uniform and dense, and there are no cracks on the surface and inside;(3) It has sufficient mechanical strength;(4) Meet the expected physical performance requirements. The processing process of refractory brick body is molding, and its main methods are: mechanical pressure molding, isostatic pressure molding, melting casting molding, vibration molding, ramming molding, extrusion molding, hot pressing molding, etc.
