The road is close to the central city, and there are mostly residential communities on both sides, and the amiable gentleness of the lights and the daily life of firewood, rice, oil and salt have witnessed the historical changes of the old county town of Wuxi. Nowadays, the mottled road surface, the outdated municipal pipe network and transportation facilities can no longer meet the needs of citizens for comfortable, stable and safe travel, and the improvement of road quality needs to be carried out urgently.
How can this old road be rejuvenated?
The quality improvement project of Xianqian West Street starts from Chunshen Road in the west to Jiefang West Road in the east, with a total length of about 920 meters. The main contents of upgrading and transformation are: excavation and reconstruction of roadways and sidewalksReplacement of flat side stones and manhole covers;Bridge pavement, expansion joint and lap plate renovation, structural disease repair;Overhead line into the ground transformation;Landscape, lighting, traffic safety, traffic intelligent facilities and various underground pipelines are updated simultaneously. After completion, it will significantly improve the daily travel environment of citizens and increase the traffic capacity of the area.
