Recently, the longest tunnel of the Jiehui Railway Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Guangdong Railway Investment Group, was successfully completed at the inlet end of the Baijiling Tunnel and the small mileage of the auxiliary construction channel Wufeng inclined shaft, which was 5 days ahead of the planned breakthrough time, laying the foundation for the successful completion of the construction task of the whole line.
With a total length of 9,815 meters, the Baijiling Tunnel has complex geological conditions and high safety risks. In particular, the auxiliary construction channel, Wufeng inclined shaft, has a total length of 2,414 meters and a comprehensive slope of 986%, the longest "S" shaped inclined well in China, has crossed the geological fault zone many times, the surrounding rock is weak, rich in water, and the safety risk is extremely great.
In order to ensure the safe promotion of tunnel construction, the company organized the participating units to invite experts to hold several plan reviews, optimize the construction plan, ensure the efficient operation of the drainage system, strengthen the advanced geological prediction of the tunnel face, scientifically set the depth and frequency of the blast hole for each construction cycle, and add shafts and convection fans to strengthen ventilation and effectively improve the working environment. At the same time, it strengthened the construction of smart construction sites, set up a VR immersive simulation experience system, strengthened the safety education of 18 accidents in 34 scenarios of tunnel construction, and focused on the supervision of the safety process with the help of the information management platform.
Through the joint efforts of all the employees involved in the construction, we will overcome the unfavorable factors such as ultra-shallow buried sections, fault fracture zones, abundant groundwater, difficult pumping and drainage of large heads, and difficult ventilation and heat dissipation, and make every effort to accelerate the construction progress on the premise of ensuring safety and quality. Among them, after the single-port excavation at the entrance end of the tunnel exceeded 3,500 meters, the average monthly tunneling speed remained at 240 meters, and the peak single-port monthly tunneling speed reached 270 meters. Up to now, 4,789 meters have been excavated in the direction of the inlet end of the main tunnel and the small mileage of the Wufeng inclined shaft, and 2,611 meters have been excavated in the direction of the large mileage of the outlet end and the Wufeng inclined shaft, and a total of 75 of the main tunnel construction of the whole tunnel has been completed.
Jiehui Railway is a key project of Guangdong Province's "14th Five-Year Plan", located in Jieyang City, Guangdong Province, starting from Jieyang Station of Meishan Railway and ending at Huilai Station of Shanshan Railway, with a total length of 8866 kilometers with a design speed of 160 kilometers per hour.
