Real-world examples. 
Case 1: Resident Zhang Moumou reported to the police: he received ** at home, and the other party said that the free time of the "million guarantee" in his WeChat was about to expire, and he would deduct 800 yuan every month if he did not cancel it, and in order to avoid being deducted, he used the "NetEase Meeting" app to talk to the other party according to the instructions of the other party. The other party said that he wanted to transfer the money to the designated account, so that it would not be automatically deducted, and then the money would be returned, guiding him to transfer money to the bank card provided by the other party, and was defrauded of a total of 6,129 yuan.
Case 2: Resident Li Moumou reported to the police that he received a strange ** claiming to be a WeChat million guarantee customer service, and chatted through QQ meeting, saying that the WeChat million guarantee fee could be lifted by transfer, and the transfer amount would be returned, and under the guidance of the other party, he used his bank card account to transfer money to the account provided by the other party, and was defrauded of 163236 yuan in total.
Case 3: Resident Chen reported to the police: he received a strange **, the other party said that he could cancel the million insurance policy for him, otherwise he would continue to charge, and then he followed the guidance of the other party, operated in the million policy data center software, and entered his own information and verification code, and then the money in his bank account was transferred, only to find out that he was cheated, and a total of 25,000 yuan was defrauded.
Case 4: Resident Tian reported to the police: he received a strange **, and the other party said that he could help him cancel the handling fee of "million insurance" in the WeChat app account, and then he operated according to the requirements of the other party, carried out "face verification", provided SMS verification code, etc., and then the money in his bank card was transferred, only to find out that he had been defrauded, and a total of 205,300 yuan was defrauded.
Case 5: Resident Liu Moumou reported to the police that he received a stranger ** that his insurance in WeChat had expired, and if he did not renew his subscription, he needed to cancel the automatic deduction, otherwise he would be deducted every month, and then he ** the "webex" app according to the guidance of the other party, and then transferred money to the other party, and was defrauded of a total of 156,600 yuan.

What exactly is "Million Guarantees"?
WeChat Pay "Million Guarantee" is jointly underwritten by Tenpay and Chinese Property Insurance PICC to ensure the safety of users' funds. This protection is enabled by default, and users can apply for compensation as long as their WeChat Pay account is stolen by others during the use of WeChat Pay, resulting in financial losses, with a maximum annual compensation amount of 1 million yuan.
Does the "Million Dollar Guarantee" have to be paid?
This guarantee is completely free, and users can check their WeChat Pay "Million Guarantee" in WeChat-Me-Service-Wallet-Consumer Protection-Security. The insurance will not "expire" or "expire", and will not require "payment renewal", let alone affect credit reporting.
Analysis of fraud routines.
Pretend to be a customer service call.
* Obtain the victim's information through illegal channels and make a phone call, falsely claiming to be the customer service of the "Million Guarantee" insurance business, and guiding the victim to click on the "Million Guarantee" page on the grounds that the victim clicked on the "Million Guarantee" when purchasing the product and needed to cancel, or that the insurance had expired and needed to be renewed.
Cause panic. Falsely claiming that the victim has opened the "Million Dollar Guarantee" service, and deducting hundreds to thousands of yuan per month, causing panic among the victims.
Induce screen sharing software.
* Tell the victim that you can transfer the deposit from the bank card bound to WeChat and Alipay to avoid WeChat and Alipay deductions, and at the same time guide the victim to ** screen sharing software.
Turn on screen sharing and transfer the money.
Use the screen sharing software of the victim** to trick the victim into transferring money to a "safe account", or steal the victim's bank card number, SMS verification code and other information through "screen sharing", and transfer the funds in the victim's card.
Anti-scam tips. In order to avoid falling into the trap of fraud, if the majority of residents receive the so-called customer service, please do not be gullible, and if you have any questions, you can verify with the official platform, especially when it comes to account passwords and transfer operations, you must be vigilant.
