Atsumi Kiyoshi (March 10, 1928 August 4, 1996) is a famous Japanese actor. His real name is Yasuo Tado, born in Ueno, Taito-ku, Tokyo. He is known to the world as the protagonist of the "The Story of Injiro" series of comedy movies. Posthumously, he was awarded the National Honor Award of Japan. With a total of 48 episodes, "The Story of Injiro" is the most "long-lived" comedy series in film history, and it is also the masterpiece of Atsumi Kiyoshi, known as the "Chaplin of the East". Atsumikiyo used his life to successfully create the image of Jiro Che Yin (nicknamed "Ah Yin"). This excellent actor passed away in 1996, and "Injiro" became a swan song. After his death, Atsumi Kiyoshi was buried at Genkeiji Temple in Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo.
