This summer, I gathered in Luoyang again and came to Longwang Village for character sketching, happy to be a student again.
Very early, I started to prepare for this sketching, and I also made my own drawing board, carefully packed the painting utensils, and repeatedly confirmed that nothing was left behind. Early in the morning, Mrs. got up early and baked cakes, let me take them to eat on the way, this feeling is really not much, how can there be a taste of rushing for the exam. I don't remember how many times I came to Luoyang, following Teacher Chen Yuming and my colleagues in the ink homeland to learn and Xi, I only know that every time it will be such a nervous and happy feeling.

Along the way, I drove the ** in the car very much, and from time to time followed the familiar melody loudly and shouted, that atmosphere, as if I had returned to the kind of blood and passion when I was in college, and I felt that my whole body was full of boiling power. Outside the car window, the mountains are undulating, like fragments of memory, outlining a picture of 10 years of study.

I remember that in May 2014, I went to Beijing for the first time to study with Mr. Chen, and I still remember the songs and laughter along the way. Go to the carving nest, where every day I will have a fresh feeling, I will notice that I am different from yesterday, gradually have self-confidence, open up a little knowledge, as if I have come to a different world.

From the carving nest to the ephedra beam, from Xiayu to Longxi, from Banzha to Longwang Village, every sketching place we have repeatedly visited is clearly remembered. The cold of the ephedra beam in northern Shaanxi can only be rubbed together and run two laps before you can continue to paint. It's so hot in the Xiayu Mountains, you need to keep getting up from the mat at night and taking a few showers to fall asleep. The disaster and tribulation in the Guandi Temple in Banzha Village, almost everyone was covered with rashes. But our eyes are full of landscapes, and everyone who has seen and painted them is so enthusiastic, simple, and real, isn't this exactly what we are thirsting for?

This year coincides with the 10th anniversary of the Ink Wash Home, and this is to commemorate it. Thanks to the dedication and hard work of the teachers, and let us gather in Longwang Village, I am glad that I am still a student, and I hope I will always be.
The sketching of Longwang Village has begun, and I am already looking forward to the next sketch.
